Don't believe Emma Canada's marketing hype. They push a "100-night risk-free trial" with "free and easy returns," but my experience couldn't have been more different. Trying to return a mattress that wasn't right for me turned into a frustrating weeks-long ordeal designed to wear me down. If you want to return, expect their support team to pull every move possible to keep from giving you your money back. They'll offer you a low 70% refund just to keep a mattress you can't sleep on. They don't handle pickups themselves and make you find a local charity or pay out of pocket. When I asked about it, an agent actually claimed the free return only works on "unopened" items, which makes no sense for a 100-night trial. After weeks of back and forth, when they finally set up a pickup, the date somehow ended up after my trial window closed.

My Emma Performance mattress is fantastic and the quality is obvious right away when you lie on it. I contacted their customer excellence team and had mixed results with that experience, which left me a bit disappointed since getting help with the purchase took longer than expected due to some checkout issues. Beyond that though, I'm really satisfied with the mattress!

Expect delays getting your mattress delivered, sometimes way longer than expected, plus their return process is a nightmare. Their customer support isn't responsive and keeps saying they'll reply in 72 business hours but doesn't seem to actually read your messages. Everything is email only, which makes it worse. I cancelled my order because of the shipping delay, but suddenly it shipped anyway and they insisted the order was done. I'd also moved during this time and sent them my new address well before cancelling, but they shipped it to my old location instead. Now they expect me to handle the return myself since they apparently don't have a way to retrieve shipments. This company's practices are pretty shady overall. Shipping a product after cancellation is poor service, and making the customer responsible for handling it isn't right. Find a different mattress company.

Got our Queen mattress in April when they were offering a 1 year trial. After several months of use, my back was still bothering me, so I initiated a return in mid-July. The back and forth emails felt like talking to an automated system. It took close to another month before we actually got our refund processed. The mattress itself seemed like decent quality for the price, but it just wasn't the right fit for us as it felt too soft and didn't provide the support we needed.

Avoid Emma Sleep at all costs! I ordered a mattress and pillows but never got the pillows. The mattress itself doesn't match what's on their website and it's stiff as a board, impossible to sleep on. The customer service is awful and hard to get ahold of. They advertise a 360-night trial with free returns, but when I tried to return it they said they can't pick up in my area. They told me to donate it or give it to someone else, which is ridiculous. I'm stuck with an $800 mattress I can't use and no pillows. The quality and service are both terrible. I want a refund. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else.

Happy with the new mattress and we sleep soundly on it. It's thicker than what we had before and doesn't work perfectly with our current sheets, but we can manage. The edge doesn't sink in when you sit on it and it doesn't make us overheat at night.

The delivery driver was fantastic and even helped me carry it up the stairs since it was quite heavy to manage alone. Before my partner could help, I actually rolled it up the stairs myself by pushing and pivoting at each step. Once we unrolled it a few hours later, the mattress fully expanded and we were impressed by how thick it is! My partner was skeptical about a 6 out of 10 firmness level, but after that first night he said he slept great. It turned out to be more firm than we expected, which is actually better. I'd personally say it's around 7.5 to 8 out of 10 for firmness. No squeaking or odd sounds, just really comfortable and peaceful sleep.

This has been one of the best buys I've made all year! Lying down on such a soft mattress has been amazing and I'm still loving it months later. My sleep has improved noticeably and even my kid thinks it's great. The firmness is just right, not too hard and not too squishy, exactly what I needed.

Really comfortable, especially for side sleeping. Makes getting out of bed in the morning pretty easy.
