Refund issued quickly.

I booked a return flight from Kirkwall to Heathrow, via Glasgow, coming back Heathrow to Kirkwall, via Aberdeen.Travel dates were 6th and 9th January.The flights were booked through Expedia and were British Airways flights, with the Scottish flights being operated by Loganair.My first flight, from Kirkwall was cancelled because of snow. The purpose of travel was to go to my mum's funeral. The next available flight was two days later, the day of the funeral so I requested a refund at the airport.Loganair weren't much help and when I contacted BA they said I wasn't eligible for a refund as the Glasgow to Heathrow flight did fly.Not much use when I'm in Kirkwall!Expedia initially said they'd need to contact BA, but suggested I chase BA too. The next day I contacted Expedia again who resolved things quickly and my refund appeared on my credit card statement the same day. The agent I dealt with at Expedia was efficient and very helpful. Sorry, I don't know his name.I appreciate the fast refund at such a difficult time, as I ended up missing the funeral.

Great price for a hotel stay abroad!

We booked last Saturday for a 4 night H/B stay in Palma, Majorca, leaving on Sunday.The booking process was very easy and the price was a lot cheaper than the hotel's own site.We would definitely look at this site again in the future if we needed a hotel stay abroad.

We stayed again at shillingford bridge wallingford oxfordshire . Lovely spacious room all you need for overnighter . Bar very nice and breakfast was lovely as usual . Beautiful riverside setting and easy access to wallingford and bus . Pleasant stay good value.room had been redecorated from last visit too

The hotel tried every excuse — even using “non-refundable” in the wrong context (I didn’t cancel, there just wasn’t any hot water for the whole stay!).Expedia were professional, apologetic, and sorted everything out promptly. We fully understand that, in accordance with local regulations, a Tourist Tax is applicable and payable at the end of the stay.However, we discovered that our child is exempt from this tax, as she is under 17 years of age.We contacted Expedia to request a refund of the Tourist Tax specifically related to our child. AMAZING Experience with Christina Following Hotel Let Down

Don't usually leave trust pilot reviews, but I've had absolutely amazing service from Expedia over the last few days & know they get a bad rep sometimes.I booked a hotel through them 8 months ahead of staying &, 3 weeks before travel, the hotel cancelled my room type & only had a down-grade room available.For context, we'd specifically booked a large room with smaller joining lounge area, so we could put our 6 month old down to sleep in the lounge whilst we could still enjoy some of the evening (rather than having to sit in dark silent room haha). We are travelling to Soller for a wedding & have our parents staying nearby. Having changed this so last minute, there is obviously absolutely nothing left in Soller that meets are criteria & isn't >£3000!! (Specifically booked so far in advance to avoid this as a young family).Christina, the member of Expedia's team I dealt with, completely understood the impact on our trip, changed our hotel, to a far more expensive, 5 star & better reviewed hotel, at no extra cost.I am sooo pleased that what was a very stressful situation, has become a huge positive, thank you to Expedia!
