Got my Yeti 150 a long time ago and kept up with charging and draining it, but then I stopped and it lost its ability to hold a charge. When it's plugged in there's no noise, but unplug it and it starts beeping constantly. I stuck it in the garage thinking it would beep for an hour or two before stopping, but nope. It's been more than 12 hours and still going every 6 seconds. Even from my kitchen I can hear it when things are quiet. Not buying Goal Zero again if this is how they design batteries. UPDATE: It's been over 24 hours and still beeping. I covered it in the garage to muffle it some, which helped a little, but I still hear it inside. This constant beeping is maddening. UPDATE 2: Maurice from Goal Zero walked me through getting a replacement battery. I've ordered one and will swap it out so at least I can use the unit again.

I picked up a Goal Zero Yeti 4000 pro and a Yeti 4000 tank battery for a home solar setup and was really excited. Then my electricians ran into trouble figuring out how to hook up that 3600w passthrough cable so the system would automatically switch to battery when the grid went down. I've reached out to Goal Zero multiple times over several weeks. I got one response saying they're swamped, but that's it. The electrician says he needs actual instructions on how to wire this thing, and there's basically nothing in the documentation. Right now I've got four grand sitting here that I can't use. I'm seriously considering returning it. I've bought Goal Zero before and liked their products, but the lack of support right now has really turned me off. There are definitely other solar companies out there that might handle this better.
