Gray Line Savings Hacks
Vacation packages that bundle multiple days or destinations often have better per-day pricing than individual day tours. Check Gray Line's package offerings to compare total value against booking tours separately.
Gray Line rotates promotional offers regularly through its affiliate program. Revisit the offers section at the top of this page often to catch new codes and deals before they expire.
Customer reviews can reveal which tours offer the best experience for your budget and interests, helping you choose tours that deliver strong value and satisfaction.
Gray Line offers tours at different group sizes and price points. Smaller group tours may have premium pricing but offer personalized experiences, while larger groups typically offer lower per-person costs.
Gray Line Shipping Policy
Gray Line arranges tours and vacation packages rather than shipping physical products. Delivery of your tour experience depends on meeting at designated locations and times as specified in your booking confirmation. Review your itinerary carefully upon booking to understand all logistics and pickup points.
Gray Line Returns & Refund Policy
Tour and vacation package cancellation and refund policies vary depending on the specific tour, booking date, and when cancellation occurs. Contact Gray Line directly to understand the cancellation terms for your specific booking, as these are typically more restrictive closer to the travel date.

Gray Line Reviews
Gray Line is rated 1.6 out of 5 by 23 shoppers, with the vast majority expressing serious dissatisfaction. Recurring complaints include poor customer service quality, operational failures (tours not meeting advertised length, wrong vehicles provided, long wait times), misleading product availability claims, and staff unprofessionalism. A small number of shoppers praise individual tour guides, but these positive experiences are overwhelmed by widespread reports of failures in service delivery, vehicle allocation, and customer support.
Shoppers consistently report that Gray Line does not deliver on its promises. Issues span transportation services (incorrect vehicle types, vehicles too small for luggage), tour operations (shorter actual duration than advertised, time spent waiting), pricing concerns (rates described as higher than competitors), and fundamental customer service problems (staff dismissiveness, lack of necessary information provided). Multiple reviewers explicitly recommend avoiding the company entirely.
The tour guide was wonderful and made the experience great. However, the office staff member was very rude and mean. Being 80 years old with a mobility permit, I was shocked when they had my car towed, which cost me 175 dollars.
This is promoted as a two hour tour but it's not. The driver spent time on his phone while we just sat waiting. The actual tour time is only an hour and a half with a 20 minute stop included. Find a different tour company.
Booked a van for six family members with 11 bags of luggage from the airport to our resort and it was completely botched from beginning to end. We waited an hour and then they handed us an SUV instead of the van we requested. They claimed there wasn't a van available. The SUV was too small for our luggage so we had to hold everything on our laps the whole ride. Then on the way back we called to confirm our pickup time, only to discover the driver had shown up three hours earlier than we requested and marked us as a no-show. When we told them the time was wrong, they refused to send another vehicle and basically left us stranded, saying we had to find our own way to the airport. This was one of the worst transfer experiences ever. The staff didn't care and acted like we didn't matter. It turns out they have almost no vehicles of their own and just book private taxis, so you get wrong information about wait times. When problems happen, they just blame the driver and send another car without fixing the actual issue.
Visited Los Cabos recently and their customer service staff is incredibly unprofessional. They collect payment for excursions but don't give you the information you actually need to know. They act like they don't care at all. This is hands down the worst company I've dealt with. Don't use them.
They keep claiming products are in stock when they're not actually available. Their prices are way higher than anywhere else. And good luck getting customer service to help you with anything.
Did the Golden Circle tour while in Reykjavik. The pickup was really well coordinated and the experience was wonderful. Our tour guide Michael was fantastic and explained everything beautifully throughout. We got to feed some amazing Icelandic horses and made great time on the tour. The morning start at 10am was ideal.
Took the Golden Circle tour in Reykjavik and it was fantastic. Everything was well organized from pickup to finish and the whole tour was incredible. Our guide Michael was knowledgeable and explained everything we saw along the way. We even had time to feed some beautiful Icelandic horses because the tour was running ahead of schedule. The 10am start time worked perfectly.
The Porto city tour was a disaster. The audio guide didn't match up with where we were stopping, and the stops on the map didn't line up with the actual stop numbers either.
Very disappointed and felt ripped off by this company. I emailed a complaint and got no response. We were told multiple times to be at the stop by 7am sharp because they'd leave at 7:15 with or without us if we were late. We got there at 6:35am. We didn't board until after 8am because two people showed up late. After booking, we got a message saying the Naples stop was cancelled and we'd get 3 hours at Pompeii instead of 2. But we only actually got 2 hours, and the guide was moving so fast we couldn't see everything. This was a place I'd wanted to visit for over 10 years. The tour guide talked so quickly that many of us couldn't understand him. We felt like we were constantly rushing to keep up with him as he speed-walked through everything. The hotel where we had breakfast charged more than triple what anything else cost in Rome, and nobody warned us about the price before recommending we eat there.
Booked a Split to Dubrovnik trip. We left at 7am on a coach for about 3.5 hours and they said there would be stops but to bring snacks. I had an early breakfast before my 6:40am pickup. The first break for restrooms didn't happen until after 9am and there were no shops there, not even for water or coffee, even though we had 20 minutes to spare and passed service stations. When I asked why we couldn't stop somewhere with coffee, they said it would take too long. I just wanted a quick drink I could have in the 20 minutes. They made me feel selfish for asking and lectured me about coffee. After getting to Dubrovnik, they rushed everyone off the bus to start the tour right after another hour and a half drive. The guide wouldn't even give me time to use the public restroom, asking me to wait until he was done. I then had to find the group once we started walking through the city.
Not helpful at all with customers. I showed up 5 minutes late to my booking and they wouldn't assist me. I ended up missing my Rome tour and lost 90 euros.
My tour was scheduled for today but they never showed up to collect us. I tried calling before departure time. First they said they couldn't find my booking. After 30 minutes they admitted it was there but they forgot to pick us up. They wouldn't come get us at all. Very unhelpful service. Don't book with them. We missed out on seeing the glacier and diamond beach because of their mistake.
We took a Lisbon tour yesterday and bought seven tickets. The buses were completely overcrowded. No seats were available so we spent half the ride standing. The ticket agent told us buses would come every 30 minutes. We waited over an hour at one stop even though that wasn't true. When I complained to the ticket office, the staff was dismissive and didn't seem to care at all. Worst city bus tour I've ever been on.
Booked a Plitvice Lakes tour at the Split office and checked in at the meeting point. We asked about switching to a different tour with less travel time and were told no, even though that tour had plenty of open spots. They pointed us to our assigned guide who had over 25 years of experience and explained how great the tour would be. We decided to stick with it. We followed the guide they showed us only to get to the bus and learn she was actually leading a different tour that day and we were on the wrong bus. By the time we got back, the other bus had already departed. We went back to the desk run by one of the staff and asked if we could change tours, switch days, or get our money back. She flat out said no and blamed us for missing the bus. She kept saying 'that guide isn't on the lakes today' even though she had literally walked us over to meet her.
