We've been coming back to Joia El Mirador since 2018 and we returned again in Feb/March. This place is absolutely incredible, sitting right by the beach. Honestly, I'd give it more than 5 stars if I could. The whole team, especially Tiziana, Carlos, and Leticia, went above and beyond to make everything perfect. It's hands down the best hotel we've stayed at and we can't recommend it enough for singles and couples. Everyone who visits keeps coming back and once you find this place, you'll return too. We're already counting the days until we go back.

We spent 10 days at Sabila in Costa Adeje, Tenerife and everything was excellent. The staff are really professional and the food quality is top notch. The sunbed reservation system works perfectly with no fuss. The pool attendants Camilla and Santiago are wonderful. They're friendly, super helpful, and really represent the hotel well. I'd recommend this place without hesitation.

I won't be booking with them again. They advertise deals on their website, but when you try to actually reserve, the prices are identical to regular rates. When I reached out for clarification, an agent tried pushing a 9-night package for almost 14000 euros. The company used to be reliable, but now they just seem unhelpful and charge too much.

I booked Iberostar Selection Eolia Djerba back in mid-October, wanting to give my wife a special 60th birthday celebration since we'd enjoyed the property the previous August. Just five days before our trip in May, I was told the hotel wasn't available and we'd be reassigned to the Royal Garden Hotel instead. That property was nowhere near the standard of the Eolia and completely spoiled what should have been a memorable occasion. We later learned the Eolia had been under construction and closed since late 2024. Getting only five days notice about this switch was unacceptable. I filed a complaint with IHG on June 15 and still haven't received any acknowledgment or response. I even sent a follow-up reminder to Iberostar's customer service asking them to reply, with no luck. To make matters worse, the hotel group never credited my IHG membership with any club points.

We're back at this fantastic hotel and it was just as good as we remembered. The staff were attentive, the location is perfect, the pool area is excellent, and the dining options are top-notch. Everything was spotless too.

We spent an unforgettable week at Iberostar Kantoui Bay in Tunisia and highly recommend it. The reception team welcomed us warmly and all the staff at the pool, bar, and restaurant treated us with kindness, making us feel safe and at home. A special thanks to Imed and Basim who organized fantastic activities like camel riding, quad biking, jet skiing, horseback adventures, and parasailing. All activities ran smoothly and were so enjoyable. Our room was always spotless with fresh towels and beautiful flowers every day, thanks to Saheem. Jalel and Lobna in the restaurant were wonderful, taking excellent care of our group throughout our eight-day stay and making us feel treasured at each meal. The cuisine was fantastic with wonderful choices of local and international flavors. We can't wait to return.

Our week at Iberostar Kantoui Bay in Tunisia was unforgettable and we'd absolutely recommend it. From the moment we walked into reception with a warm greeting to the friendly faces at the pool, bar, and dining area, we felt welcomed, cared for, and completely at ease. Imed and Basim were fantastic at setting up lots of exciting activities including camel rides, quad bikes, jet skis, horseback riding, and parasailing. Everything was well coordinated and such a blast. Saheem kept our room pristine every day with fresh towels and new flowers. Jalel and Lobna took outstanding care of our group of eight at meals, making every dining experience special and memorable. The meals were delicious and featured plenty of local and international dishes. We'll definitely come back.

Don't recommend staying at this chain unless you're willing to risk losing valuables. We returned from Iberostar Waves in Djerba to find 800 pounds missing from our safe. We filed a police report and my partner gave three statements, but the manager seemed totally indifferent until the airline got involved and told him what steps to take. Only then did we get a response. I've emailed the customer service center to report what happened and got absolutely nothing in reply. I've been traveling for over 15 years throughout the Caribbean and have never experienced theft before. We usually stay at Riu properties, and Iberostar was our first attempt, but it will definitely be our last. That's unfortunate since we travel three times yearly and they could've had significant business from us. We're switching back to Riu from now on, and their properties are much cleaner too.

In late Nov 2024 we visited Iberostar Selection Diar El Andalous in Tunisia. The property was undergoing some updates while we were there, but honestly we couldn't complain about anything. The team was fantastic, the meals were delicious, and the weather was beautiful. Everything felt great and we'd definitely stay there again.

We stayed here about two weeks back and had a blast. The resort had amazing entertainment and the food was incredible. There was one issue with a rowdy guest causing noise in the room above us, but after we reported it once, the problem stopped. My only gripe was the drink policy where a bottle of cola was complimentary but a glass wasn't. If you get the chance, definitely go for it. One helpful tip: if you're out in the medina, flip your hotel bracelet so people can't tell where you're staying. We got bothered pretty much all day by someone claiming to work there when he didn't. Also, bring cash with you.

We're returning here for a second visit, two years after our first trip, because it was such an amazing experience that we had to go back. We've traveled extensively and rarely do return visits, but when somewhere ticks every box perfectly and delivers exactly what you're looking for, you don't want to go anywhere else. The beach here is absolutely breathtaking with gorgeous colors and spectacular mountain vistas. Just a stone's throw away are stylish, cool pools surrounded by beautiful tall pine and palm trees, making the location pure paradise. What really sets this place apart is the authentic, warm hospitality from the entire staff paired with polished professional service. There's a graceful and genuine spirit that makes the whole atmosphere relaxed, peaceful, and joyful. And the food deserves its own mention. You can tell a place's quality by its meals. The care, attention to detail, variety, quality of the proteins, and plating are all exceptional. The food is presented with pride and passion, and it tastes amazing. They rotate special dishes nightly such as lobster, so there's always something fresh and new to experience. The buffet and breakfast offerings are honestly the best.

We're back from our trip and what a fantastic time we had at Iberostar Cala Domingos. The food was outstanding with amazing variety. I couldn't get through all the different things they offered because there was fresh seafood in every variety, vegetables, fruit, cheese, and meat every single day. The rooms were cleaned daily. The staff were super helpful. The activity coordinators, including Diamond, Claudia, Paco, and Alejandro were phenomenal and we don't know how they managed such large crowds of kids so well. One thing to note is that the property is quite large and built on a slope. The main areas are at the top while the room buildings are scattered lower down. But don't worry, they run golf cart shuttles every 10 minutes going between levels and each one fits 10-12 people. The same setup applies to getting to the beach. It's shallow which is perfect for kids, though deeper water starts about 20 meters out. Fresh water stations are located every 20-40 meters near the rooms so you don't need to purchase water. We drank from the stations instead. The bus stop for nearby towns is right by the reception. We'd recommend this place to anyone.

The team working in the Lobby Bar really knew how to make guests feel at home. Sara, Isme, and Antonio especially deserve recognition for their outstanding service and friendly attitudes throughout our visit.
