Lost all my data because of Kaspersky's Password Manager. I renewed my subscription through the app and the system made a completely new empty vault instead of keeping my old one. My original vault had over 400 logins, documents, and notes and it just became locked away. Support gave me generic responses that didn't help at all and never recovered anything. There was no warning, no sync, nothing. This isn't a password manager, it's a trap for your data. I'm done with them.

This company is completely unresponsive to false positive complaints about websites. I have a client whose site got flagged on the blacklist for over a month now. I've submitted correction requests twice using their form and haven't received a single response. Other vendors have been helpful and fixed the issue, but without getting Kaspersky to whitelist the site too, my client is stuck. I did everything right to fix their site and move them to a better host, but now I'm just waiting for this company to step up. If they keep ignoring these submissions, I'll be sharing my experience on every review platform I can find.

I can't cancel my account. Even after deleting everything, it still shows that auto-renewal will happen. I had to cancel my entire credit card and get a new one issued. I also found out the company has connections to Russia's security services and the founder has ties to Putin, so after what happened in Ukraine I'm getting away from this anyway. I switched to a different brand.

Canceling my auto subscription was nearly impossible. It took me 45 minutes just to figure out how to do it. That's ridiculous customer service.

After removing this software from my computer, Microsoft Defender suddenly got disabled and I got an error message saying my IT Administrator restricted access. Now I have to completely reformat my hard drive to fix it. This program is absolute garbage that shouldn't exist. It acts more like a malware that steals your info than actual security software. Don't even bother trying it.

Kaspersky charged my credit card for an automatic renewal without my permission. I bought antivirus in 2020 but I'm certain I never enabled auto-renewal. I submitted a refund request two weeks ago and I'm still waiting to hear back.

Had Kaspersky antivirus for about a year and it always seemed to block my wifi connection. They were upfront about auto-renewal and even offered a discount if I signed up for a new 2-year contract a month before my renewal, so I went for it. Then three weeks later, they charged me again full price for basically the same renewal I'd already paid for. I got double-charged and the credit card dispute took forever. They eventually credited me for one charge but the other one is still pending, meanwhile my software got canceled so I have zero protection now. I'm still out the money for the auto-renewal and paypal was no help. It's crazy that with all their systems, they don't know I already bought and paid for a subscription.

I bought Total Security for my new iMac and it's been a complete failure. Both quick scans and full scans constantly freeze up. When a quick scan does work, it's only sometimes. Full scans just get stuck at 1% and claim it needs 60 hours to finish but never actually progress past 1%. This is a widespread problem based on what I've read online. My Mac is brand new with an SSD, six-core processor, and maxed out memory running the latest OS, so it's definitely not a hardware issue. I looked into it and other users report the same thing with no fix from Kaspersky. I uninstalled it and tried a well-known competitor that completed a full scan in 20 minutes with no problems.

I'm from the former Soviet Union and based on what I know, Kaspersky Lab is basically KGB Lab. Not interested.

This has got to be one of the worst programs I've installed on my Mac. The antivirus blocked almost everything I tried to access, including Gmail and my Amazon account. Getting it off my computer was a nightmare. I had to dig around online to find their uninstall tool just to completely remove it from my system.

Kaspersky support strung me along only to tell me I was outside the 14-day return window. They kept giving me runaround answers that I kept responding to, but the real problem is their installation instructions for multiple licenses don't work at all. Their website is frustrating and hard to navigate, and looking at all the negative reviews I understand why they won't give refunds even when you have a legitimate dispute with them. You've been warned.

This product is absolutely terrible. That's all there is to say.

I paid for Kaspersky to protect against a firmware rootkit or bootkit on my computer and phone, and I got nothing. I sent them logs, screen captures, videos showing unusual CPU temperature and battery drain, core processes disabled, abnormal CPU activity, GPS spoofing, cell ID spoofing, and evidence of remote control over WiFi, Bluetooth, and NFC. I gave them tons of proof that any security expert would recognize. But all they kept asking for was an AIDA64 log, and after I provided it they just did nothing. You pay for this service and there's no actual support whatsoever.

I've been using KIS for 8 years through my bank account and it works perfectly. The bank knows quality when they see it.

I'd been using a different antivirus for years and wanted to try Kaspersky. It was okay when things worked, but the customer support was mediocre and not available 24/7 like some competitors. I also had issues where something got through and I had to restart Windows 10 multiple times. The whole thing felt like it was weighing my laptop down and wasn't actually protecting me well. Switched to something else and wouldn't recommend this.
