I've bought three of these air purifiers and every single one has had connection issues. And in the last year, I keep getting alerts saying I need to swap out my filters way sooner than I should have to. The online chat support doesn't help, and talking to the offshore support team never actually solves anything.

Awful customer support. My air mini unit died suddenly after three years of use. I reached out about getting it repaired or replaced, but they told me my warranty had expired and I'd just need to buy another one. A person named Joel who claimed to be a supervisor basically said there was nothing he could do for me. These things cost at least four hundred dollars and up, so why can't they offer repairs or have someone look into what's wrong with the device? He just flat out refused and said I'd have to purchase a brand new one. I'm really disappointed with how they treated me and won't be ordering from them again.

Terrible customer service across the board! As someone who runs a business, I strongly advise staying far away from this company. You'll be much happier going with a different air purifier brand like the Medify Air MA-125 instead.

This is just marketing hype. It took forever to get my unit delivered, over thirty days. Once my first replacement filter arrived, the unit stopped functioning. Even though it was only a few months old, Molekule sent a new filter, but when that didn't help, they reluctantly took it back. I had to buy a box myself to ship it. I thought they were sending a brand new replacement unit, but what showed up was refurbished. I spent nearly a thousand dollars on this thing and got a used unit in return. If I'd bought an appliance from anywhere else and returned it, I'd get a new one. Instead, Molekule sends you an old unit that they claim to have fixed. Something that's refurbished will probably fail again soon. Plus, their emails just repeat how sorry they are but say that's their policy and you're stuck with the used unit. The filtration performance isn't any better than cheaper alternatives either. You can get much better deals on competing brands for half the price. Don't waste your money on Molekule.

The biggest issue is that Molekule only serves the United States. If you relocate to Europe and already own one, they won't deliver replacement filters through their subscription service. Your only option is to buy filters from third party sellers on marketplaces where they're marked up significantly. Shipping to Europe isn't complicated, but they just won't do it, which has driven away many loyal customers. When they were at their peak, you could get filters on their UK site, but they've since taken everything down. Now they just link to marketplace sellers where you can't verify authenticity or that you're getting genuine products at fair prices. Filter costs end up being nearly double what Americans pay. You're looking at over one hundred and fifty pounds every half year just for the main filter, plus another carbon filter every three months. At those prices, I could buy two different brand purifiers annually instead. It's pretty clear what's happening here.
