Picked up a prepaid SIM for a holiday in Australia but ran into a problem where my phone was set to 3G for voice calls and couldn't work with their network. By the time we figured that out, we'd left the shop area. Their support staff said they'd help and refund me but then I got shuffled around between different people. They insisted on calling me to process the refund, which didn't work since my phone couldn't make voice calls. Months later back home, my phone company let me know 3G was being shut down and all I had to do was dial a code to switch systems. But Amaysim never mentioned that option or even knew about it.

I never even signed up with them. I was with Circles originally which they absorbed, and both companies were charging me simultaneously. Cancelled my Amaysim plan back in May after a bunch of hassle and got confirmation. Then they somehow put me back on a plan without my permission and started taking money again. Tonight they sent an email asking for ALL my ID documents just to cancel. That's wild since I never gave them any ID to begin with when I was set up. Why would I give my identity documents to a company that signed me up after cancellation and has been taking my money without consent.

Steer clear of this company. Their pricing looks great upfront but you'll regret buying from them. Kept asking why I wasn't getting my E-SIM, waited for days, asked for a refund, and got nothing. These people should be shut down and prosecuted for scamming customers.

Very disappointed with what I got from Amaysim in terms of customer and technical support. I don't want to bore anyone with the full story but I've already switched providers today.

Really let down by Amaysim and their lack of real support both for customer issues and technical problems. I switched providers today and don't want to get into all the details, but that's how bad it got.

Seven years as their customer and I've got nothing but good things to say about the service quality they provide.

Attempting to activate the SIM was a nightmare. Wasted a lot of time on the phone with their support team. Didn't work until the third attempt when someone finally told me to take it back to the store to get it scanned properly, even though the store staff had no clue what was supposed to happen. Plus I can't log into the app because it says my details are wrong. Absolute rip off.

Tried to cancel my SIM but they made the whole process extremely difficult. Had to jump through endless hoops on their chat support including verification checks and random questions about my travel. They seemed determined to keep me from canceling. This feels like it might actually violate consumer protection laws.

Had them for a couple years without any issues. My plan works great and I haven't had problems. Curious when you'll start offering internet service though.
