I wish I'd looked at reviews before purchasing. My GTS 3 worked fine for almost a year until the screen went black and stopped turning on completely. I reached out to customer support but heard nothing back for weeks, even though the watch should still be under warranty and covered for defects. Clearly they don't care about their customers.
Steer clear of Amazfit products. You'll regret it. Their customer service is absolutely terrible. I've been trying to get in touch for weeks and can't get any helpful responses. My Balance watch won't power on or charge at all, and I bought it just a few months ago.
False claims and more false claims. I bought the GTR 3 Pro about eighteen months ago and it worked fine at first. Then I found out sleep tracking was happening without my consent. I'd switched it off but it kept tracking anyway. Then the real problems started. The GPS data wouldn't refresh for weeks at a time. When I complained, the company first blamed me, then reluctantly admitted there was an issue they'd supposedly fixed. Spoiler alert: it wasn't fixed. Three weeks ago I got a T-Rex 2 for water tracking, but it barely works without draining the battery instantly. I can't disable sleep tracking or Bluetooth, both run nonstop and kill the battery. Last week my old GTR 3 lost its waterproofing just from a shower even though it claimed 50 meter rating, and the speaker stopped working. The warranty is now void. Getting replacements parts is a nightmare, but the GTR 3 Pro remains decent for now.
I sent my GTR 3 Pro in for warranty repair on March 15. On April 11 they said they were shipping a replacement. Today I still have no idea where either watch is. I don't have my original watch and never got the replacement. There's no shipment tracking and they won't respond to emails. I feel scammed and robbed.
They're scammers. And I'm not the only one saying it. I ordered a smartwatch that never came. I've been trying to get their attention for months but they never respond or help. They won't even verify who actually received it or look into it. Stay away because all they do is scam people. I can prove I've been contacting them for over two months with no results.
This is the worst customer service I've experienced. The T-Rex 2 is basically a toy. The altitude readings are ridiculous. It jumps around to crazy numbers when I'm just sitting in one room. When I complained, the support team said changing from 36 meters to 42 meters without moving is normal. But then it goes to 79 meters or down to minus 17 meters in the same spot. The apps are terrible and the star ratings they show are fake. They rate their own apps five stars before release. I wasted money on this. They offered to test the watch if I sent it back, so I agreed. When I asked where to send it, they said they don't accept returns. Why would they offer that?
Save your money and don't buy this. I switched from a cheap unbranded tactical watch that was actually more durable and functional. The T-Rex Pro was garbage. It wouldn't capture any stats correctly. The device kept saying it needed to be positioned differently on my arm or worn tighter, but I was already wearing it properly. Overpriced and poor quality. A forty dollar generic watch performed better. The support was useless too. The website chat was staffed by people who clearly had no training. I returned it within half a day of opening it.
