Since I'd read her book about Hashimoto's, I thought she actually cared about helping people. I started the protocol and within 36 hours I was violently ill. I tried reaching out to the support email listed on the site and got bounce backs. Their general store email never responded either, and that's basically your only option for help. I made several attempts to get guidance about what was normal and what I should do before considering an ER visit. Whatever's in these products, something that makes you this sick needs clear instructions, warning labels, and actual customer support. The package cost over four hundred dollars, so yeah, this feels like a scam. I threw everything out and lost my money. Fortunately I figured out on my own how to feel better, but I had to miss work and spent days recovering.

However, I got an email saying they were updating my Liposomal Vitamin C subscription to a new eight-ounce bottle instead of the sixteen-ounce size for convenience and at a lower price of $25.97 down from $31.97. That's misleading advertising. Here's the math: what was one sixteen-ounce bottle at $31.97 now requires two eight-ounce bottles at $25.97 each, totaling $51.94. That's a sixty-two percent price increase, not a decrease. You're cutting the bottle size in half while raising the actual cost significantly. That's dishonest. Be upfront with your customers. I'm disappointed especially since I buy all my vitamins, protein powder, collagen and recommend the Thyroid Connection book. The lack of transparency is shocking and this pricing move is making me look for other brands with similar products that are honest about their business practices.
The supplements sold here are way overpriced. You can find competitors with much better pricing that offer the same ingredients and work just as effectively or even better. Shopping around will save you significant money for identical products.
I've been a customer for about six to eight months now. The supplements themselves are solid and I'm satisfied with the products, but I decided to cancel both of my subscriptions for a couple of reasons. First, delivery takes way too long. With a subscription, you expect your order when you need it, not a week after you run out. Then you have to chase them down asking where it is. They respond fast to questions but their replies feel automated and have a rude tone. When you're spending close to two hundred dollars monthly, that's not acceptable service. Second, one of my subscriptions didn't ship and when I looked into it they said it was backordered. I had to ask why they hadn't notified me and basically got a half-hearted apology. I even had to tell them how to get my future subscriptions back on schedule. Between the poor customer service and the ridiculous volume of marketing emails and texts I'm drowning in, I decided I'm done. I've switched to other supplement companies that treat customers better.
When folks give low stars, I wish they'd actually explain why instead of just saying they dislike someone. That's not helpful. Ground your complaint in facts, not just feelings. Yes, this company is way too aggressive with email marketing and it's incredibly annoying. But I don't have complaints about the actual supplements themselves. Honestly, some people may be frustrated with big business in general rather than these products specifically. Certain supplements I can't really tell if they're working without expensive blood tests over time. That's true for other brands too. But I've had real results with some of their stuff. When I had SIBO and my regular doctors wanted to just throw more antibiotics at it, these products actually helped. I use their L-Glutamine when my digestion slows down, plus probiotics and curcumin. Some of their products definitely made a difference for me. I've been using them for 5 years or longer now.
Not satisfied at all with my experience. I contacted them today and found out Dr. Myers hasn't maintained a medical practice for over a decade. The phone support is staffed with salespeople who know less about gut health and autoimmune issues than I do. I asked if there were any medical professionals I could consult with about which products would work best for my situation. The answer was no.
The actual products themselves deserve a solid 4 stars or higher. However, the website chat and customer service team are pretty disappointing, scoring maybe a 2. They struggle with straightforward questions about product availability and ingredient information. I spent forever hunting through the site for something I've been buying for years, and only chat was able to locate it buried in an out-of-stock section. Ended up just grabbing it on Amazon Prime instead since that was way more convenient. Their auto-replenishment program used to be an option, but it was always a headache whenever you tried to make any adjustments to your order.
Update from January 2025: I'm changing my rating from 2 stars to 5 because they actually listened to what customers were saying and brought prices down to help make their supplements more available to subscribers. This company deserves recognition for doing the right thing. The products are definitely high quality, but they were really pricey and costs kept going up. One of my go-to supplements got switched from 60 capsules per bottle to 30 capsules per bottle. While they lowered the sticker price, I'm now spending almost $25 more just to get the same number of capsules. When you're already spending over a hundred dollars, this felt crazy. Customer service wasn't helpful when I brought this up. I was frustrated and actively looking elsewhere for my supplements. But I'm pleased they made these recent changes.
