What Shoppers Say About Apt2B
Apt2B shoppers report significant problems with delivery timelines and customer communication. Multiple reviewers describe extended delays in receiving custom furniture orders, with some experiencing indefinite production holds, delayed fabric shipments, and unresponsive customer service when trying to get updates. Several customers also report receiving damaged items and dealing with cushions that flatten prematurely, durability issues, and quality concerns that appear within months of purchase.
The overwhelming majority of reviews are highly negative, with 73 percent giving one-star ratings. A small number of satisfied customers exist, but they are substantially outnumbered by those expressing frustration with the ordering process, lack of communication, delivery problems, and product quality. For customers considering Apt2B, the reviews suggest caution regarding both the timeline for receiving custom orders and the long-term durability of the furniture.

Sorted by: Most recentPlaced an order for a sofa that was supposed to take six to eight weeks. Two months went by and I reached out asking where it was. That's when they told me the product line hit an indefinite delay in production. Terrible communication and a huge waste of my time.
I'd give this negative stars if the system allowed it. Here's what happened: ordered my couch in early December, got told two weeks later that the fabric wouldn't arrive until the end of January. Called them on the last day of January and they said yes, the fabric showed up and they're starting to build it right now. Next thing I know their website is gone and there's no explanation. Tried calling and got stuck on hold at position one for three solid hours without reaching anyone. Left a callback request that never came. Tried messaging them on email, Instagram, and Facebook. Complete silence. It's like nobody's even working there. Put in a chargeback claim with my credit card and waiting for that to process. This has been an absolute nightmare and the company's total lack of communication is unprofessional and inexcusable.
Is this company actually operating? Something feels really off here. I bought a sofa for seventeen hundred dollars back in late January and got a confirmation right away, plus an email asking me to verify my address that same day. Three days later they sent another one saying production had started. Then their website basically disappeared and went into maintenance mode, where it still is. I've sent multiple emails and gotten nowhere. I spent over an hour on hold a couple weeks ago even though the system said I was next in line, and when I called back they disconnected me. I'm filing a dispute with my bank and looking into legal options but I'm really confused about what's happening. The production timeline of a couple weeks seemed reasonable at first. Then out of nowhere I got two identical messages from different people saying they think the company went under and shut down. Something's definitely not right.
Waited over a month for my custom sofa and chair to arrive with white glove service. Both pieces showed up damaged. There's a deep cut on the armrest from what looks like a box cutter, and the chair's base got dragged across the ground causing damage. Been trying to reach out to the company for two days now with zero response. Nobody picks up the phone or replies to emails. I got rid of my old furniture thinking this would be here, so my living room's completely empty.
Really let down by my purchase from Apt2B half a year ago. The sofa has fallen apart way faster than expected. The cushions keep sinking in and feel flat, plus the material is pilling everywhere. It looks beat up despite barely getting any use. I spent good money on this and thought I'd get something that would last and feel nice to sit on, but honestly it's cheaper quality than the price suggests. I could've grabbed something from IKEA for what I paid and gotten way better results. Won't shop here again. Can't even return it thanks to their hefty restocking charge.
Spent nearly five grand on this couch and it came with stains on it. The back cushions went flat way too soon. Not even a year in and I'm filing a damage claim. Really wish I could post photos to show the issues but their site won't let me.
Make absolutely sure before you order because the return and exchange fees are wild enough to buy yourself a second sofa. I had a really bad run-in with their customer service team who tried to shut me down when I complained about the crazy charges. Whether you return or exchange, the fees are the same. I was going to do an exchange but when I saw the eighteen hundred dollar fee I went to my credit card company for help. That's when Apt2B started threatening me, saying they wouldn't deliver my replacement sofa and would hit me with more fees unless I dropped the dispute. I offered to split the difference on the fee but they ignored that and I decided to just contest everything with my card company instead. Once they figured out I wasn't going to back down, they claimed they'd already sent me a message about my compromise offer. Except I never got anything from them.
The rep I worked with went the extra mile to help me find the perfect couch! She was super thorough about answering my questions and steered me toward making the best choice for my space. Really impressed with how helpful she was throughout the whole process. So glad I picked Apt2B!
Never got the sofa I ordered and the reps didn't offer any real help to fix things. They didn't seem to care much, probably because they figured I'd only buy one couch. I placed my order and waited the recommended time without hearing anything about delivery, so I called them. The rep basically told me there was a factory issue with that sofa model and they couldn't say when it would be back in stock. Their solution was to pick a different sofa and they'd throw in a hundred dollar discount. No apology for not reaching out sooner about the delay or having me sit around waiting. I said that wasn't going to work for me and asked how long I'd actually have to wait. They said a month. I'd already been waiting eight weeks at that point, but I didn't want to spend more time browsing their site for something else, so I agreed to the wait. The website said it was in production, so when I checked back in a month to see when delivery would happen.
Top notch on both the product and the way they took care of me. The delivery showed up when promised and the person bringing it kept me in the loop. My couch is amazing and it's holding up great against my pet's claws thanks to the velvet material. Definitely going to order from them again.
