Arccos Golf Reviews
What Shoppers Say About Arccos Golf
Arccos Golf is rated 1.2 out of 5 by 20 shoppers, with the vast majority of reviews expressing serious dissatisfaction. The primary complaints center on billing practices that shoppers describe as deceptive or predatory. Multiple reviewers report being charged unexpectedly for annual subscriptions when they believed they were signing up for free trials or monthly plans, difficulty canceling subscriptions, and refund requests being denied. Customer service responsiveness is another major pain point, with shoppers reporting unanswered emails and support interactions that feel robotic or unhelpful.
A small number of reviewers acknowledge that the core golf tracking system functioned adequately once initial issues were resolved, but these positives are heavily outweighed by frustrations with rising fees, a problematic new air feature that degraded performance, poor quality of peripheral products (such as rangefinders), and what shoppers characterize as a business model designed to trap customers into paid subscriptions. The overwhelming consensus is that Arccos Golf prioritizes revenue collection over customer satisfaction and product reliability.

Sorted by: Most recentEven one star is too generous for this app! It was unreliable last summer, but once they introduced their new air feature it became completely useless.
I've been using Arccos for several years now. After working through some early problems, the basic system actually functions pretty well. But here's the thing, the yearly fee keeps going up while their customer service keeps getting worse. Then I made the mistake of buying their laser rangefinder. I was reminded real quick how little they actually care about their customers. Support responses are sluggish, there's no sense of urgency, and nothing like the standard you'd expect for what you're paying. A week in and my issue with the £300 rangefinder was still unresolved. At this point I'm too invested to switch away, but seriously think hard before making the same mistakes I did.
This is a total con. They lure you in with a 'free trial' but require payment details up front. When you want to cancel during the trial, there's literally no way to do it easily. Now that they have your money, customer support disappears. I've sent multiple emails and never gotten a single response, but they have no problem spamming you with newsletters constantly. These people are terrible - stay away!
This company has awful values. I bought a trial and missed an email about renewal that looked super spammy, so I got hit with a £130 charge. Their support is just robots spouting standard responses. Yeah Jake, I know how to cancel now, thanks for quoting your terms at me but that's not helpful or human. This whole thing is a money trap. They advertise monthly pricing but charge a full year upfront with zero refund options even if you cancel early with 11 months left. The app itself is buggy and unreliable anyway so it's not worth using. Total trap - avoid it. Update: I've now requested a refund under Consumer Contracts regulations citing my right to a 14-day cooling-off period. Will see if they actually refund me.
Their marketing makes it sound like a monthly subscription, but then they charge you upfront for a whole year with zero actual monthly option. It's completely misleading. Imagine going to buy your weekly groceries and the cashier tells you at checkout it's £10 monthly for 12 months.
Got the trial subscription but didn't actually activate it due to personal issues. I must've missed the notification about the charge and the full annual fee was taken from my account. I called them the same day to request a refund and cancel. They went ahead and canceled the membership but refused to refund my money, claiming the account was never activated. Says a lot about how this company operates. Good companies take care of their customers, and good customers take care of those companies in return. That's not what happens here.
Watch out! They save your payment info and automatically renew your subscription even when you specifically turn off auto-renewal! There's no phone number to contact them with, and they argue back and forth with you over email when you try to dispute charges. They billed me $199 without permission and won't refund it. This is basically theft!
Bought a full set of 15 Arccos sensors and grips but ran into compatibility issues with my smartphone during setup. After reaching out to their support team, things started okay but then fell apart. Turns out my Samsung phone isn't actually compatible even though their website says it is. Apparently you need a phone with gyroscope capability, which mine doesn't have. What really got me is how their customer service team just ghosted me after identifying the problem. I've sent countless follow-up emails and submitted multiple support tickets through their site, and nobody has responded. This is probably a widespread issue that they're aware of but hiding. I'm down £250 with a useless product and the company won't help. Steer clear of Arccos!
I've been using Arccos for quite a while now. The system does genuinely help with my golf game, though it can be frustrating with occasionally missing shots and random glitches. My real issue is their customer support team - they're basically useless, don't respond to emails, and when they finally do reply they're not much help at all. They absolutely earned this bad review. Right now I'm dealing with the app saying I don't have an active subscription when I actually do. Their support keeps telling me I have one, but then the app won't let me play and just keeps asking me to activate a subscription!
I'm writing about my Arccos account situation. I've got an iPhone 14 Pro and my subscription was fully paid through April 2025. I decided to cancel because I knew I wouldn't be using it next year and wanted something different, plus 120 euros annually felt like too much for what you actually get. But here's the crazy part - as soon as I canceled, they shut down my account immediately! I can't use Arccos anymore even though I've already paid through April 2025. Why would they do that?! This is insane. When you cancel a subscription, you should obviously be able to keep using it until your paid period ends. Not with Arccos apparently. You paid until April but canceled? Too bad, you can't access it anymore. This has to be the worst customer service I've ever dealt with.
