Bear Creek Arsenal Reviews
What Shoppers Say About Bear Creek Arsenal
Bear Creek Arsenal receives polarized feedback, with shoppers deeply divided on their experience. Positive reviewers consistently praise the durability and quality of BCA firearms, citing reliable performance even under harsh conditions and competitive pricing that seems difficult to match. These satisfied customers also highlight fast shipping and generous add-ons like free barrel oil. However, a significant portion of reviewers report serious issues with shipping delays, customer service responsiveness, and order modifications. Multiple shoppers experienced 2-day flat rate shipping that took over a week to dispatch plus an additional 10 days for delivery, and report that customer service responses were unhelpful or condescending when complaints were raised. Weekend and pre-business-hours order placement creates accessibility problems, as there is no ability to modify or cancel orders once submitted.
The store's product quality appears solid based on testimonials about long-term reliability and durability, but logistics and customer service represent significant pain points that detract from the overall shopping experience. For buyers prioritizing product performance and willing to accept potential shipping delays, BCA may deliver value. However, those requiring quick delivery or responsive customer support should carefully weigh these concerns before ordering.

Sorted by: Most recentBeen using my BCA 350 legend for 3 years without ever cleaning it and have put around 1500 rounds through it. Left it out in rain, dropped it out of my UTV and the steel casing still looks brand new. Really impressed with how well this thing performs. Thanks BCA
These guys ship way faster than Palmetto State Armory. They threw in free barrel oil with every order and even gave me a sticker. I'd definitely buy from them again.
Ordered twice and won't be back. Both times I paid nearly $30 extra for 2 day flat rate shipping and neither one showed up on time. The first item took over a week just to ship out, then another 10 days before it arrived. That's nowhere close to the 2 days I was promised. When I complained about it, the response was condescending and unhelpful. You lost my business. I'm disputing the charges with my bank since I definitely didn't get what I paid for. This feels like a scam to me.
Customer service is pretty useless here. Wanted to modify my order before it shipped but placed it on Saturday and couldn't reach anyone until Monday morning. Once the order is in there's no way to change or cancel it. That's disappointing because I'm sure it hadn't even been pulled yet. I've bought from them before but this will be my last time.
First thought I had was to trash them so they'd stay cheap, but I'm an honest person and I've been around long enough to know better. The guns I've bought from BCA are well made and solid quality. The only thing that amazes me is how they pull off these prices. I've picked up 3 items and been happy with all of them. Got a left-side charged pistol caliber upper, a right-side one too, and a 22lr upper. Use them all for steel and plate shooting and they just work. They're more reliable than my own aim. One note on the right-charge PCC I bought though, I decided to use a brass catcher with it. That was a mistake on my part. Can't actually charge the gun when the catcher is attached. That's on me for not thinking it through. I can only speak to what I've personally bought but I see a lot of negative reviews and most of those folks just don't know firearms. Better to listen to people who actually shoot, love guns and know what they're doing instead of some random online critic. I've got more expensive precision guns for serious work but when I want to have fun shooting steel targets why spend 800 bucks on something else to hit an 8 inch target when BCA nails it every single time.
Purchased an AR-15 upper in 6mm ARC back in mid-March. Wanted a 24 inch barrel but they were out so I went with the 20 inch instead. Looked fine when it arrived and shot okay with decent accuracy but a couple months later I found a 24 inch barrel elsewhere. Took everything to my gunsmith and he ran into trouble removing that 20 inch barrel. Turns out it got damaged during installation. He called BCA about getting a replacement barrel nut and they agreed to send one out. Got a shipping notification from the carrier on the 14th saying it was ready for pickup but as of late January it still hasn't left their facility. Both my gunsmith and I have tried calling and emailing repeatedly since mid-January with no luck. They don't answer phones and I've sent 4 or 5 emails with zero response. Worst customer service I've ever experienced from any company.
Love putting together firearms and have ordered a lot of stuff from this company. See tons of complaints online from people saying items are broken when they arrive. Honestly that's usually on the customer. Whenever I get AR parts I always take them apart, inspect everything, clean it up and put it back together. People should pay attention to the recommended ammunition and loads for their specific equipment. All my stuff from BCA runs perfectly. I've had issues with other brands too but found them during my inspection process and got them working right.
The person who got this as a gift absolutely loved it. Delivery was super fast and made it before the holidays, but the packaging got pretty banged up. Also they use a third party financing option and honestly that company charges way more than the actual item costs. Fortunately I paid it off early so I dodged that. BCA should look into Klarna, Afterpay or at least PayPal. Skip that financing option or you'll end up paying triple what the item actually costs.
BCA is where I go for everything when I'm building firearms. Both my customers and I are impressed with their products. Prices are reasonable and delivery is quick, which is why I keep coming back.
They won't pick up the phone for customer service or sales. I've called at different times throughout their business hours and nothing. It's like the place doesn't even exist. Have an order that's running late and still waiting but can't reach anybody. Is this even a real business? I left a comment on their YouTube about not answering the phone and it got removed immediately. That's sketchy and unprofessional. Planning to cancel my order and file a complaint with the BBB.
