What Shoppers Say About C.O.Bigelow
C.O. Bigelow shoppers are divided in their experiences. On the positive side, customers praise the quality of the products themselves, particularly items like shaving cream, and appreciate the scent options and ingredient quality. Several reviewers commend the website experience, order tracking, and timely delivery, with some noting that sample products were included with their orders. The pricing, while high for some, is considered fair by those who value the product quality.
Negative feedback centers on product consistency and fulfillment issues. A significant complaint involves packaging problems, with multiple customers reporting that lip balm containers leaked during shipping. Additionally, some customers feel uncertain about flavor accuracy (such as mint not being noticeable in a green tea product) and find the pricing steep relative to product quantity, particularly for items like body wash. Customer service responsiveness has also been cited as problematic, with at least one shopper experiencing delays in order processing that required follow-up contact.

Sorted by: Most recentI ordered the green tea with mint product but the mint flavor just wasn't there.
I got a mess on my hands with this purchase! I bought two sets of their popular lip balm, three containers in each set. The packaging looked nice and I loved the scent options. I gave four to family and kept one for myself while leaving one unopened at home. Here's the problem - four out of five containers completely leaked everywhere in our pockets! Only the one sitting on the shelf stayed intact. Apparently the body heat from carrying them is enough to make them turn into liquid. Switching back to Blistex.
Thought I was ordering tea, but nope! Not sure why a 10 oz bottle of body wash runs twenty bucks. That's barely more product than you'd get in a small water bottle. Look, I understand they use quality ingredients and it probably smells fantastic and does good things for your skin. But then I read another review claiming their prices are reasonable. Hand soap for eighteen dollars is supposed to be a deal?
I actually really like their products - the shaving cream is fantastic. My problem is with how they run things on their end. It's frustrating because I used to grab this stuff at Bath and Body Works, but now I have to order through their website, which has been a nightmare. I placed an order and nothing happened until I reached out to them more than a week later. Even then, I had to be the one to make them ship it. They grabbed my payment immediately though, no issues there. The customer service experience has been terrible overall. If this is how they keep operating, I'm going to have to find a different brand to use.
Just got my order from C.O. Bigelow and I couldn't be happier! Everything about this experience was great, from browsing their website to checking out. The order tracking kept me in the loop the whole time, and my package showed up right when they said it would. They even threw in some sample products that I absolutely adore. But let me tell you about the actual items I ordered - seriously impressive! The Lemon #1999 is just incredible, such a lovely fragrance. And their Lemon No. 312 shampoo? It's hands down my new go-to. This company really has their act together. I'm definitely going to be shopping with them regularly from here on out.
