I've been a regular customer for quite a while, buying both online and at retail locations, and was mostly happy with my purchases. Recently I got an order where the spices had a best by date just a week away. I contacted them about it and got a response saying not to worry, that the best by date was actually three years out from the packaging date. Basically they admitted the spices were already three years old and didn't offer any solution. Either their quality control has slipped or they're just not as responsive as they used to be.

Ordered on December 7th and still waiting as of December 22nd. Haven't gotten any updates from customer service or my purchase. This was supposed to be a Christmas gift for family visiting from out of state, and now I have nothing to give them. Really let down by how this turned out, especially since I wanted to give something nice to my son-in-law. I won't be ordering again no matter how good their items are if they can't deliver on time.

These spices are fantastic and arrived really well protected since glass jars need careful packaging. Wish they had a bigger selection on this site. They cost more than some other brands like Penzey's, which I also order from occasionally, but the flavor really does seem fresher and more vibrant here.
