What Shoppers Say About CADDIS
CADDIS receives overwhelmingly negative feedback from shoppers, with 15 reviews averaging 1.6 out of 5. The most common complaints center on defective products (frames cracking or loosening, bifocal readers too small to use), refusal to process replacements or repairs, and unresponsive customer service. Shoppers report being denied assistance even when prescription paperwork issues were resolved or when products failed to meet specifications. A small minority of reviewers (7 percent) report satisfaction with the product appearance or sturdiness initially, but these positive experiences are vastly outweighed by accounts of structural failures and unhelpful responses.
Beyond product defects, customers cite frustration with the online glasses-buying experience at CADDIS, including limited frame availability in desired prescriptions and colors, unclear fitting information, and perceived barriers to prescription verification. One reviewer reported receiving unsolicited marketing emails despite never making a purchase. The combination of poor durability, unresponsive customer service, and resistance to returns or replacements has led shoppers to conclude there are better retailers for eyewear.

Sorted by: Most recentSuch a great experience dealing with their team! They really went the extra mile to make sure I got exactly what I needed and it was such a smooth process. Really appreciate the care they put in. Definitely coming back.
I need to send back reading glasses that don't fit right even though the site says they fit large to extra large. I paid $114.55 for them after a discount from the original $145 price. When I got the return label, I found out I have to pay shipping to send them back AND I only get $68.49 in credit. The math doesn't add up and it's honestly ridiculous. The glasses have never been worn so why wouldn't I get back the full amount I paid plus tax? Most high end retailers offer free shipping and free returns, but Caddis charges you premium prices while treating returns like a discount store. I've bought eight pairs of readers in the last two years and I'm done with them completely.
I ordered two pairs of progressive readers with blue light filtering and they came looking nice and feeling comfortable, but that's really it. I've worn drugstore progressives from Foster Grant for years without issues, but these Caddis ones have a sharp jump between lens strengths that made me dizzy wearing them. The middle section for computer work wasn't strong enough even though it matches my other glasses prescription. Plus the blue light filter creates a weird ghost image above the screen that won't go away no matter how I position them. They're basically unwearable for me.
I was looking forward to shopping at Caddis and ordered prescription glasses during a sale. Here's my advice: if you want trendy oversized frames at this price point, go to a store and try them on first because the models in their photos look amazing but my pair was way too tight, squeezing my temples with an uncomfortable bridge fit. When I asked about returning them, I was told it was final sale and they wouldn't take them back even though I didn't see that policy when I ordered. Now I'm throwing away a pair of expensive glasses. There are plenty of other hip frame companies out there that have better policies and they're popping up in my Instagram feed constantly.
