What Shoppers Say About Chaparral Mtrsprts
Chaparral Motorsports has a deeply polarized customer base. Satisfied shoppers praise competitive pricing on major brands like Michelin and Scorpion, with one reviewer noting lower prices than competitors like Revzilla, and appreciate when orders arrive as promised. However, the majority of reviews describe serious operational and service failures: incorrect shipping addresses that result in orders sent to wrong recipients, missing promotional items (such as free visors) that the company refuses to replace, disputed charges and refund denials, product listings that do not match what arrives, and customer service interactions marked by rudeness, sarcasm, indifference, and unresponsiveness. Several shoppers reported being placed on hold for extended periods or receiving no responses to follow-up requests.
The most damaging pattern across negative reviews is customer service's refusal to resolve problems even when the company is clearly at fault. Shoppers described being laughed at, denied promised manager interventions, and stonewalled on refunds for duplicate charges and shipping errors. While a small segment of customers report satisfactory experiences, the frequency and severity of complaints suggest systemic issues with order fulfillment accuracy, staff training, and complaint resolution processes.

Sorted by: Most recentOrdered a rear motorcycle tire through their website. Right after placing the order I found the same tire cheaper elsewhere. Tried calling Chaparral but couldn't get through. Took 2 days before someone answered and when they did, they told me price matching only works if you call before you order. So basically I need to shop around first, then call, then order? That makes no sense. I'll just buy from whoever has the better price upfront. They refused to adjust the price or cancel my order, and wanted $15 for a return fee on the tire. Worst customer service experience I've had.
Bought parts both in store and online with no problems whatsoever. Great selection with tons of inventory available. The staff is super friendly and knows their stuff. If you're in Southern California, definitely stop by in person to check out their operation.
Wow, seriously impressed with the speed here. Ordered some items on the 4th and got one package delivered to my porch the next day and the other via mailbox delivery the day after that. Can't beat that turnaround. If you need something fast or are looking for gift ideas, Chaparral is definitely worth considering.
