What Shoppers Say About colibrirealestate.com
Colibri Real Estate has received consistently low ratings from shoppers, with serious concerns about data privacy and course quality. Multiple reviewers report unexpected enrollment in email and text message lists without their consent, and the company was unable to explain how subscribers were added to their contact list. Additionally, shoppers describe a disconnect between the advertised "self-paced" format and the actual learning experience, which consists mainly of reading screen content followed by immediate quizzes.
A major recurring complaint involves final exam questions that were not covered in course materials, with one reviewer reporting that approximately 99 of 100 final exam questions were entirely new content. While some shoppers note that pricing is reasonable and the schedule is flexible, the overall learning experience and data handling practices have left reviewers dissatisfied with the program.

Sorted by: Most recentSomething weird is definitely happening with this real estate school. I never signed up for their text messages or email list, but somehow I started getting them while I was just browsing different real estate training programs. When I asked how I ended up on their contact list, they couldn't even tell me which IP address was used to subscribe me. Pretty sketchy if you ask me. Here's another thing that doesn't add up though, why does this school claim to have a 2.8 rating when the only reviews visible here are 1 star, 1 star, and 2 stars? That math doesn't check out.
This program isn't actually self-paced like they advertise. It's more like you're teaching yourself. The format just has you read whatever shows up on your screen and then immediately take a test on it. The pricing is reasonable and you can squeeze it into your schedule without too much trouble, but the actual learning experience is basically impossible to get through.
The course setup and learning environment seemed nice enough, so I went through each section and managed decent grades on my quizzes. Then came the final exam with 100 questions, and here's where things went downhill fast. Almost 99 of those questions were brand new material that was never mentioned in the actual course content, with only maybe one question I'd actually seen before. I scored under 60% and immediately reached out to an instructor asking for clarification on some answers I got wrong since nothing made sense. They refused to help me understand where I went wrong. I decided to give it another shot on my second attempt, but the exam had the same types of questions that were never properly covered in the lessons. Failed again. Then boom, a big popup shows up saying "PAY $79 TO CONTINUE." So basically, you pay again just to keep trying.
