What Shoppers Say About Ebbets
Ebbets has received universally negative feedback from shoppers, with all 6 reviews rating the store at just 1.0 out of 5. Customers report severe fulfillment issues, including receiving wrong orders, items that arrive damaged or defective, and unexplained shipping delays lasting weeks or longer. Multiple reviewers describe unresponsive or unhelpful customer service, with refunds taking over two weeks to process, return requests going unanswered for days, and staff refusing to correct simple order errors like incorrect delivery addresses.
Beyond logistics problems, shoppers report quality control failures such as seams splitting immediately upon wearing garments. The most frustrating pattern involves lack of accountability: customers describe being charged shipping fees for the store's own defective merchandise, waiting months beyond stated production timelines without proactive communication, and receiving minimal compensation or apologies for significant errors. Refund processing appears inconsistent, with at least one customer reporting no refund appeared after confirmed delivery of a returned item.

Sorted by: Most recentOrdered a bunch of stuff that was on clearance. Instead of getting what I paid for, they shipped someone else's order to me by mistake - apparently it was supposed to go to a guy in Texas. When I complained and asked for my money back, they flat out refused. Don't expect to actually receive what you order from these guys. If something goes wrong, you're basically stuck.
Got a nice quality baseball cap in but realized I'd picked the wrong size. Asked about swapping it for the correct size, but that one was sold out. I returned it for a refund following their instructions and the tracking confirmed delivery on Dec. 22. By Jan. 9, still no refund showed up on my card. Emailing customer support hasn't helped much either since there's no phone line.
They said my order was packed and on its way. The DHL tracking has been stuck saying 'EN ROUTE TO DHL ECOMMERCE OR AWAITING PROCESSING' for the past week. DHL can't give me updates and neither can Ebbets. Starting to wonder if they just took my money and disappeared.
Grabbed a shirt and the seams split the moment I put it on. They did take it back eventually, but it took them like a week just to respond about the return. Even though they confirmed the shirt was defective, they still hit me with a $9 shipping charge on their own broken merchandise.
Had a bad experience with their customer service from the jump. Right after I ordered, I realized Apple Pay had sent my old address. I reached out to customer support immediately to fix this simple problem. They basically said no way, they can't update it. Their solution? Wait two weeks and see if it gets sent back, then we'll figure it out. That made no sense so I called American Express to reverse the charge. I have no idea what kind of company tells customers that's acceptable support.
I placed an order for a Toledo Mud Hens jersey on Feb 26th. They charged me and said 4 to 6 weeks for production. After NINE weeks I finally called to check on it. The rep told me their fabric supplier had run out of white wool and they just got some in, so it would be another 2 to 3 weeks. I asked for an apology and got a quick 'sorry' in return. When I asked to speak with management, she said someone would call me back. No offer to rush things along, no real compensation. Just waiting to hear if they even bother calling.
