I've bought their products, paid for online services, and even pay a monthly fee to use their platform, yet I get zero assistance when something goes wrong. I'd encourage people to take their business elsewhere. It's hard to understand how a company this size doesn't value customers who spend serious money on them. As a dad of three who has been loyal since the original PlayStation, now with a PS5, I've gotten nothing but the runaround. Sony, you're incompetent and greedy.
My Bravia TV speakers aren't working on Google TV and the apps, just Netflix works. Sony's useless automated system keeps pointing me to a soundboard that doesn't exist. Their customer support is possibly the worst out there, and that's saying something when Comcast exists. This is my last Sony purchase ever since they provide zero actual support.

Sony and their protection plan are a total scam. They sell products that break and won't back up their warranty. Don't buy from them.
Bought WH1000-XM4 headphones in October 2023. Used them at home and around town. By January 2024, the charging quit working. They told me to factory reset and it worked for about a week, then failed again. The retailer arranged for Sony to look at them. Sony sent back word that corrosion damaged the charging port and it's not covered. They offered returning the broken pair or discounting a new one by about 50 percent. The photo they provided as evidence was basically unusable quality. I objected but neither the retailer nor Sony would help. Stay far away from these headphones and buy something reliable instead. Seriously, look up this model and charging corrosion problems online and you'll see hundreds of identical stories. The number of people reporting the same issue is unbelievable.

Been having serious issues with customer service and keep getting hung up on when trying to reach someone. I've spent over three hours on a radio that was purchased as a gift but arrived missing an important part. They wouldn't replace it, saying it's out of warranty. I'm about to go public with this on social media and consumer review sites everywhere. I will not buy from Sony again.
The Sony 65 inch BRAVIA XR X90L is amazing. I chose Full Array over OLED because as a professional photographer, I know that increased brightness typically kills contrast. This 90L is really bright but keeps great contrast. Audio from the TV itself sounds solid, and pairs incredibly well with my Marshall Stanmore II speaker system. I stay away from soundbars since they wear out faster and don't deliver the sound quality of separate speakers.

The Sony 90L manages to be bright while keeping contrast intact. TV sound is decent on its own, but really shines when paired with my Marshall Stanmore II speaker. I skip soundbars since they don't hold up well over time compared to standalone speakers, plus they just don't sound as good.
