Especially Yours Reviews
What Shoppers Say About Especially Yours
Especially Yours is rated 1.2 out of 5 by 25 shoppers, with the vast majority reporting serious issues. Reviewers consistently describe problems with customer service quality, including rude staff who refuse to help with sizing exchanges or refund requests. Common complaints include non-delivery of items without replacement or refund options, significant discrepancies between catalog images and actual product quality, deceptive billing practices (particularly with deferred billing codes), and a return process that charges customers for shipping while only issuing store credit rather than refunds.
Very few shoppers report positive experiences with this retailer. The rare positive reviews mention past satisfaction with shoes, but recent interactions have left customers frustrated and unwilling to return. Reviewers frequently warn others against ordering from the company, citing poor accountability, unhelpful customer service representatives, and financial losses from unresolved orders and returns.

Sorted by: Most recentI sent back a clearance item the very day I got it because it fit terribly. Especially Yours refused to give me any kind of credit for it. According to them, clearance items can't be refunded. When I asked them to send the dress back to me, they told me they'd already donated it to charity without asking my permission first. That's not okay. They basically stole $54 from me without any regard for how they handled my return.
Their wigs are overpriced and terrible quality. There are no perks for shopping with them either. They even charge a COVID surcharge which I don't understand. Skip them. The clothing is okay but way too expensive considering it's made in China.
I was browsing for a wig online and found one that caught my eye. It looked beautiful in the picture and was under $20, so I thought I was getting an amazing deal. Here's my warning: be very careful with clearance wigs because the pictures can be misleading. Shopping for wigs online is already tough when all you have is a photo and maybe a YouTube video. My wig took over a week to arrive. When I opened the box yesterday, I didn't even try it on because I could see it looked like cheap doll hair right away. I know how to use dry shampoo to fix shine, but this was beyond that. The texture was extremely plastic looking, like a Barbie doll. Returning it would cost me $8.95 with their smart post label, and since shipping was also $8.95, I'd be out over $17 just to send it back. I'm sharing this to help people who are on a tight budget and think they can grab a nice wig for cheap. Do your research first because you could end up stuck with something you hate and lose your money.
I should have paid more attention to the negative reviews on here. My order arrived but I only got one item when I ordered multiple things. I called their customer service and they claimed all my items were in the same shipment. They told me I had to wait until a specific date to call back. This company is terrible. They're not even BBB accredited. I won't be ordering again and I definitely won't recommend them to anyone. It shouldn't be this difficult for a company to be honest and fair to their customers.
Great outcome! One of our residents at the care facility placed an order with Especially Yours and it never showed up. We contacted customer service twice without results. We then reached out to management and got a fast response. After we sent copies of the order and payment confirmation, they found the problem, fixed it, and compensated the customer for the inconvenience. They even asked us to help them document the service calls so they could fix things at the root level. This could have gone wrong in so many ways, but the resolution was perfect. Our resident was thrilled with how it turned out.
