Sorted by: Most recentOur reservation for four people in Arizona got overbooked and the property contacted us through a third-party app just two days before our arrival. They said they only had a one bedroom suite available, which is limited to two guests maximum. This was a huge problem since we had four people confirmed on the booking. They didn't offer any solutions or assistance, so we were forced to frantically search for alternative lodging at the last minute. I had booked this four months in advance, so having it fall through like this was completely unacceptable.
Made a reservation through a booking platform for the WorldMark property in Scottsdale, Arizona and had my confirmation number ready when I checked in. Unfortunately, the front desk told me they had no available rooms and couldn't honor my booking. They directed me to call their customer service line, who suggested a different hotel chain called True by Hilton, but that location didn't have any record of my reservation either. I ended up paying $1,021 out of my own pocket just to find somewhere to sleep for my trip. The company refunded $1,000 of the $1,900 I originally paid, but that doesn't cover everything I lost including the extra cab rides and all the stress. If you're planning to book with them for an out-of-town trip, be warned that you might show up and have nowhere to stay.
