Here's what nobody mentions upfront: if you didn't buy it from Fred Meyer originally, you're out of luck with their warranty. They only stand behind stuff they sold, not the actual repair work they do. My bracelet means everything to me and cost a fortune, so now it just sits in a drawer because I can't wear it anymore. The store could sell something similar for close to a thousand dollars, yet I can't even get a hundred for mine now. Fred Meyer's location did give me $300 to try to make it right, but honestly that doesn't repair the damage or change the fact that they won't guarantee their own work or seem to hire quality craftspeople.
