After I bought them, I sent an email asking to move the delivery up by a day, and they got back to me right away confirming the change. Everything arrived on schedule, nicely packaged with plenty of cooling packs. My son opened them on a video call and was thrilled with what he got. Great service and delicious treats. Definitely planning to order again.
I had a problem with something on my online order and tried to get it fixed. Called multiple times but nobody picked up. Sent an email with no response. Tried using their website to work through it and hit a dead end. This was hands down my worst experience dealing with any company's customer service team.
I placed two separate cupcake orders through a delivery service in mid-December with a delivery date of 12/18. When they didn't show up, I reached out asking for an update. When I checked back a couple days later, I found out the orders had just been canceled without any warning or explanation. No call, no email, nothing. I had to scramble to find alternative gifts and ended up paying extra money to rush delivery before the holidays. I won't be ordering from this company again, and I'd recommend looking elsewhere for reliable service.
The cupcakes themselves are genuinely fantastic, so I want to be fair about that part. Unfortunately, the customer service is where things fall apart. I sent in a December order for gifts and out of 14 orders, only 12 arrived. When I tried getting answers about the missing 2 orders, I reached out at least 6 times through different channels including email, the app, and even tried calling but couldn't leave a voicemail. The two orders never showed up, and I had to dispute the charges with my credit card. To this day, Georgetown Cupcake never contacted me about any of it. I manage a significant amount of business annually, and I'll be taking it elsewhere from now on.
