G/FORE Reviews
What Shoppers Say About G/FORE
G/FORE receives sharply divided feedback, with shoppers split between enthusiastic supporters and deeply frustrated customers. The majority of recent reviews highlight serious quality control problems: golf shoes losing waterproofing within months, soles detaching, discoloration and cuff staining, and laces failing after minimal use. Customers also report significant frustration with customer service, including unresponsive support teams, prolonged shipping delays, wrong item shipments, slow refund processing (taking weeks beyond stated timelines), and refusals to assist with warranty issues for shoes purchased through third parties like club professionals.
The small segment of satisfied customers appears to value G/FORE's product design and brand positioning, but their positive experiences are vastly outnumbered by complaints about durability and customer support. Recurring issues suggest systemic problems with both manufacturing quality and the company's responsiveness to customer problems. Shoppers considering G/FORE should be aware that despite premium pricing, recent buyers have experienced product failures, poor communication, and difficulty obtaining refunds or replacements.

Sorted by: Most recentBought the bright pink women's golf shoes and they stopped being waterproof pretty quickly. The color started bleeding into my socks too. G/Fore replaced them with white and light pink MG4+ shoes, which seemed like a good move at first. Unfortunately, after just one year those shoes also got discolored. The cuff area turned a light brown color and it spread down both sides where the laces are. When I asked them about it, they wouldn't back up their product. I'm done with G/Fore after this experience. These shoes didn't even make it through a full season of use. For the price you're paying, you'd expect way better durability and color quality.
I ordered shoes almost three weeks ago and my order is still sitting in pending status. I've sent two separate emails trying to get answers but haven't heard anything back from anyone.
The shipping took way too long and when the shoes finally arrived they were the wrong size. I sent them back right away but then had to deal with getting my money back. It's been almost three weeks and nothing. They told me refunds take two weeks to process but that's just an excuse to hold onto people's cash. This company doesn't care about treating customers right and won't even respond properly. I'm finished with them. When I return stuff to other sporting goods retailers they credit me within a few days so I know better service is possible. On top of everything else, the shoes weren't even comfortable to wear.
These turned out to be the worst golf shoes I've ever owned. The soles literally came off and the customer service was basically nonexistent.
After reading tons of reviews I decided to splurge on their mid sized staff bag. Less than two months in and it finally rained on me. I was out on the course finishing up when it started pouring so I put my umbrella over the bag like always to keep water off. When I got home and started taking my clubs out I realized every single zipped pocket inside was soaked. My lightweight tops on one side, waterproof pants on the other, golf balls still in their packaging starting to fall apart, gloves completely wet. Even after drying everything out for days it took forever. I've owned plenty of golf bags from Ping, Taylor Made, and Callaway over the years and thought I'd treat myself to the expensive G/Fore option. Total waste of money. These guys will gladly take your payment but once you have a problem they don't want to take responsibility. Looking at the reviews on this site, I'm not the only one dealing with this. I plan to tell everyone I know about the poor quality of their manufactured bags and how little they care about standing behind their products.
Got a pair of these golf shoes from my club pro back in May. The laces started coming undone after just 4 times wearing them. The pro saw it, took some photos, and contacted the rep but got nowhere. So I reached out to G/Fore asking for replacement laces. They basically brushed me off saying I hadn't bought directly from them. I paid good money for these shoes and the laces are clearly poor quality. Their after sales support is terrible.
I would've given zero stars if I could. After being happy with some of their clothing items before, I figured I'd try their shoes since I liked how they looked and needed a new pair. My right foot is my back foot and pivots a lot when I play, which matters because after just one hour wearing them on the practice range the right toe frayed and a chunk of material actually came off. I contacted their concierge service about this and they said there was no manufacturing defect and they don't cover wear and tear so there was nothing they could do. I spent a fair bit of money on these shoes and previously owned Footjoy, Nike, and Adidas that held up for years without issue. These clearly aren't built to last despite the high price and premium branding. The whole conversation felt like they just wanted to dismiss me instead of actually helping, and that attitude made things worse. Good customer service could have kept me as a customer but that's not going to happen now. The product failed after one use while doing exactly what it's designed for, and that combined with their customer care approach is just unacceptable.
The quality and brand name are definitely top notch, though you're going to pay a premium for it.
Really impressed with the quality and what this brand represents, though I'll be honest the price tag is pretty steep.
