What Shoppers Say About The GolfWorks
The GolfWorks has received overwhelmingly negative feedback from shoppers, with 1.5 out of 5 from 17 reviews. The vast majority of complaints center on customer service failures, including unresponsive communication, missing items in orders, delayed shipments that fail to meet promised delivery windows (especially paid overnight options), and a lack of accountability when problems occur. Shoppers also report high shipping costs relative to item size and frustration with return processes that lack prepaid labels. A very small portion of reviewers gave positive ratings, though their specific feedback was not detailed in available excerpts.
Customers consistently describe their experience as frustrating, citing issues such as fraud review holds that delay shipments without clear communication, generic responses that fail to address specific complaints, and refusal to honor or compensate for premium shipping charges when delivery fails. Multiple shoppers expressed regret about not checking reviews before purchasing and indicated they would avoid the company in the future based on these recurring service problems.

Sorted by: Most recentGiving one star only because zero isn't available. Worst customer service I've encountered from any company. They charged my card but wouldn't ship until I called to ask why. Turns out they were doing a fraud review. Should've checked their reviews first. The shipping was ridiculously overpriced too, $12.95 for two small ferrules, and it took two weeks to arrive. Stay away from these people. It's like playing a course with nothing but hazards and no playable holes. Just a terrible experience all around.
Terrible customer service. My order arrived with items missing. When I brought it up, they tried to pin the blame on me instead of owning their mistake.
Awful experience with customer service. I accidentally ordered the wrong item and emailed them right away, then called first thing in the morning. They said it was already shipped, but I didn't get a tracking number until later that day so who knows if that's true. They did say I could return it, but here's the kicker: they don't provide a prepaid label like every other online business in 2025. It'll cost me fifty bucks out of pocket to send it back.
Paid extra for overnight shipping on a Thursday. Their website clearly states next day air takes one business day, and FedEx confirmed Friday delivery by 8pm. My package didn't arrive until Tuesday, three days behind schedule. When I complained, their customer service sent a generic response about weekends and holidays, which wasn't even relevant. Never got an apology or refund. Can't trust a company that can't deliver on basic promises like overnight shipping.
With all your unhappy customers, you'd think things would be different. I ordered overnight delivery and was told it would actually take two days, but they refused to refund my overnight charge or offer any discount. I cancelled the order. Looking at how they conduct business, I'm relieved I did.
My card was charged immediately, but my order sat in pending status for two weeks with zero response to my emails or calls. When I finally reached someone, they claimed my shipping info wasn't on file even though it was clearly visible in my order details on their site. The best they could offer was free expedited shipping, but I'd still have to wait another month because one item was out of stock. Absolutely terrible experience and I cannot recommend them.
Prices are decent but the service is really poor. It took over a week just to process and ship my order, then another two weeks to receive it. For a nineteen dollar shipping charge, I'd expect much faster handling. Won't be ordering from them again.
My shafts arrived damaged. Instead of taking responsibility, they tried to blame FedEx and dragged out the reshipping process.
Bought an Aldila golf shaft and specifically asked for it to be cut to 43 inches for a three wood I was building. It arrived cut to 41 inches. When I contacted them about it, they refused to take it back or send a replacement. Thought they were supposed to be a reputable company, but clearly I was wrong.
