What Shoppers Say About HoMedics
HoMedics products receive overwhelmingly negative feedback from shoppers, with 24 reviews averaging 1.5 out of 5. The primary complaint centers on customer service failures, with reviewers reporting unanswered emails, unresponsive phone lines, and lack of engagement across all communication channels. Multiple shoppers describe situations where damaged or defective products went unresolved for weeks or months, and warranty claims were denied or ignored entirely. Additional concerns include products that malfunction or fail shortly after purchase, such as non-functional heating and bubble features on foot spas and massagers that stop working within a year.
Beyond service issues, shoppers report problems with product discontinuation and lack of replacement part support. Reviewers note frustration when the company stops supporting older models, rendering products unusable and forcing disposal. While a small minority of shoppers acknowledge that HoMedics makes functional products, this positive sentiment is vastly outweighed by widespread complaints about the company's inability or unwillingness to address defects, honor warranties, or provide basic customer support.

Sorted by: Most recentPurchased the HoMEDICS TotalClean 5-in-1 Air Purifier last month. It was bought through a local retailer so their delivery isn't relevant since it came on time and in good shape. The unit works perfectly and I don't have any issues with it at all. Got it specifically for the UV lamp to kill viruses. On the quietest setting you barely hear it. Comes with 3 years of coverage. I'm satisfied with it. I've also had a HoMedics back massager with heating for more than 10 years and it's still going strong. Really a quality item. No complaints at all.
I live outside the US and own a HoMedics foot bath that needs repairs. It took them several weeks just to respond to my initial email. They then pointed me to their local representatives who told me to bring it to their store for service. I showed up at the scheduled time and found the place locked with nobody around and no note. Every message I've sent to them and to HoMedics after that has been ignored. The service is absolutely terrible and I'd avoid this company at all costs.
I have the Homedics foot and calf massager plus the neck and shoulder massager with heat and I'm obsessed with them both. The neck and shoulder model has comfortable hand rests built in and lets you fine tune the positioning. It moves around and I went with the plug in version, would've preferred cordless for convenience but I can't complain. The foot and calf one is a game changer honestly, absolutely incredible. After a long day of work with lots of standing and lifting my feet and calves get the most amazing relief. It makes me happy just thinking about it. I haven't had to deal with their customer service so I can't comment on that side but I feel for people who had bad experiences.
I own both the Homedics foot and calf massager and the neck and shoulder massager with heat and I absolutely love them. The neck and shoulder one has nice spots built in where you can rest your hands and adjust the position to get it just right. It moves around and I have the plug-in version, though the cordless would've been nicer. The foot and calf massager is life changing, seriously it's amazing. My feet and calves are so happy after working all day standing and lifting, it brings me to tears. Just thinking about it makes me want to go use it again. I haven't dealt with their customer service so I can't speak to that, but I feel bad for the people who had bad experiences with them.
