What Shoppers Say About Husqvarna
Husqvarna receives overwhelmingly negative feedback from shoppers, with 19 reviews averaging 1.2 out of 5. The most consistent complaint involves unresponsive customer service, with multiple reviewers reporting unreturned phone calls, ignored emails, and lack of communication regarding product issues. Additional concerns include product quality problems (such as equipment failures within the first year despite proper maintenance), warranty disputes where customers report being charged for repairs that should be covered, and products arriving with incorrect specifications or attachments that Husqvarna refuses to correct.
Among the few positive aspects mentioned, one reviewer gave a five-star rating, though their specific feedback was not detailed in available excerpts. The overwhelming pattern suggests shoppers are frustrated not just with individual products but with the company's inability or unwillingness to resolve issues after purchase. Common frustrations include lack of upfront warranty clarity, unavailable phone support, and reliance on email-only communication that goes unanswered. For customers considering Husqvarna purchases, the reviews suggest prioritizing thorough vetting of what warranty coverage actually includes before buying.

Sorted by: Most recentTwo months have passed and I still haven't received any support or communication from Husqvarna. I definitely recommend avoiding this brand. I purchased a Husqvarna lawnmower and it came with the wrong attachment. I've tried reaching out to both the authorized dealer and Husqvarna multiple times, but all I get is silence. Really let down by how this company ignores its customers.
Dropped over 300 dollars on a Husqvarna 330LK back in October 2024. Used it maybe a handful of times between late 2024 and early 2025. I didn't store fuel in it through winter and used the premium pre-mixed stuff like they recommend. Yet somehow the thing fell apart before a year was up. Combustion problems caused it to overheat and burn out from lack of proper lubrication. Husqvarna says it's not covered under warranty. Also, they list service technicians as Husqvarna certified when really they're not actually working with the company. It's misleading. They had no problem sending me an hour away to find a tech, making it a four hour round trip just to drop off and pick up. Neither the retailer nor Husqvarna would replace it. So I'm out 300 bucks and done with both of them. The service is pathetic. And to top it off, the shaft was defective from day one, constantly spinning loose instead of staying locked in place.
I rang the Husqvarna customer service number five different times, picked power washers each time, gave my phone number each time and never got a call back. It's been almost a full day. Are they really that swamped? Must be if all their gear works like my terrible power washer.
They won't stand behind their warranty at all. Basically they'll send someone out, claim it's not covered, and bill you for it. They won't even tell you upfront what is and isn't included. This isn't customer service, it's customer mistreatment.
Worst customer service experience ever. There's no phone line, nobody wants to help. I spent over 3100 dollars on a lawnmower that showed up with all terrain tires totally wrong for a lawn. It tears up the grass. Husqvarna refuses to swap them out for the right ones. When I ask for help it's a complete mess. Everyone just hides behind email. Don't waste your money on this company.
The software is really problematic. Getting your phone to pair with it is almost impossible, and the device doesn't learn from use. The EPOS system is awful, instructions are unclear, and there are tons of limitations like not being able to delete just part of a map without redoing the whole thing. The system constantly loses its satellite connection and can't rely on its built-in map to keep running. Navigation through the menus is confusing and unintuitive. What really gets me is the price tag considering how little functionality you actually get. Even basic maintenance is a hassle, like when you just need to swap out the blades.
The equipment itself is great, but that's where it stops. The registration process was ridiculously complicated and I had to go through it three times. Before doing it again with a new purchase, I wanted to look up my old ones and got told I had no previous registrations. That made no sense. After 20 minutes wasting time with their so-called independent chat experts I had nothing to show for it. They gave me the runaround instead of actual answers about where my registrations went. Rather than keep dealing with their nonsense I just left without registering. It got me wondering if others dealt with this kind of stuff. I was appalled to find out my favorite equipment maker pulls this same routine on actual warranty claims too. Reading the complaints online made me cringe, and I'm done with Husqvarna. They don't respect their customers.
When you order a part from them you're basically on your own. Even if they mess up and get your address wrong, there's nobody to actually talk to, just automated responses from robots that seem pretty useless.
For warranty work, they have basically zero customer support. The whole burden lands on the local retailers who didn't even sell you the stuff in the first place. Meanwhile Husqvarna won't pick up the phone or respond to those dealers, leaving them completely stuck. Really disappointing approach to doing business.
I own three pieces of Husqvarna equipment. The older hedge cutter still works fine but the newer strimmer and automower have been nightmares. The strimmer quit within the warranty window and they refused to fix it, even accused me of not mixing oil into the fuel which isn't true since I use the same 2 stroke container for all my tools with zero issues elsewhere. The automower turned into a money sink. The design just doesn't cut it for outdoor use here, the protection rating is too low, so every main part has needed replacement. Two new drives, a new motherboard, new wiring, and the battery life is terrible, I've had to replace it twice. Even the charging station keeps having problems. This is supposed to be premium equipment but it's the least reliable thing I've ever owned. Skip this brand.
