What Shoppers Say About Jouer Cosmetics
Jouer Cosmetics is rated 1.8 out of 5 by 5 shoppers, with the vast majority reporting serious customer service issues. Reviewers consistently complain about unresponsive support staff, unanswered emails, unreturned voicemails, confusing return policies with separate fees per item, and ineffective shade matching assistance. One reviewer praised a concealer pen for its triangular applicator tip, color payoff, and long-wearing formula.
The dominant complaint across reviews is the company's failure to provide basic customer support after purchase. Multiple shoppers report being unable to reach anyone by phone, receiving no email responses, and experiencing delays with return processes. Shoppers also note frustration with the shade matching tool and recommendations that did not suit their skin tone, despite providing detailed information to support staff.

Sorted by: Most recentDon't trust this brand. I ordered a couple items and tried to send them back, but here's where it got sketchy - they wanted separate return fees for each product even though everything showed up together in one shipment and I was returning them as a batch. When I called their customer service lines, both numbers just rang and rang without anyone picking up. As for the actual products, they were basically empty - no pigment, just clear gloss. I'm done with them and would honestly tell anyone else to save their cash.
I've tried reaching out multiple times about swapping a product for a different shade and haven't heard anything back. Their customer service is completely unacceptable. If you're only interested in making sales and don't care about supporting your customers after the transaction, you shouldn't be in business. Plenty of other brands have better customer care and better products too.
If I could leave negative stars, I would. The customer service here is genuinely the worst I've dealt with. Getting hold of anyone is impossible. Nobody responds to emails, and I've left three separate voicemail messages in the past week with zero callbacks. I submitted a return form and it's been sitting there saying 'awaiting shipment info from carrier' for nearly a week now. This place clearly just cares about taking your money and couldn't care less if customers are unhappy. One item arrived with a broken applicator tip and the other was completely dried up. Shop elsewhere - there are way better companies out there that actually treat customers with respect.
I'm really frustrated with this purchase. Even after spending over ten days going back and forth with their support team on email because their shade matching tool wasn't working, the foundation they recommended was completely wrong for me. I'd given them detailed information - my current foundation brand and shade, how my skin tone changes with sun exposure, my age - pretty much everything. When the product showed up, it was impossible to work with. Even using just a tiny bit over primer, the texture was thick like mud, wouldn't blend out properly, dried way too fast, and looked cakey and terrible on my skin. What really bothers me is that return shipping gets deducted from your refund. As a first-time customer trying out the brand, I'm upset I have to pay to ship back something that didn't work, especially since I never even opened the main bottle. Knowing I'll lose money on return shipping makes me unwilling to try different shades from them.
