What Shoppers Say About JSX
JSX receives sharply divided reviews, with shoppers either expressing strong satisfaction or significant frustration. Positive reviewers praise the airline's concept, cite good staff performance (particularly individual employees going above and beyond), and commend valet service coordination when it operates smoothly. However, negative reviewers, who represent the majority, consistently report severe operational and customer service issues: exceptionally long hold times for customer service (often exceeding one hour), rude or unhelpful staff, confusing parking and valet procedures that have resulted in vehicle towing without proper notice, and booking system problems across multiple locations.
The most recurring complaints center on customer service accessibility and parking logistics. Reviewers describe being unable to reach representatives without extended waits, receiving unclear signage about parking zones, and experiencing frustration when vehicles were towed with inadequate warning. Several long-time passengers indicate they have abandoned the airline despite loyalty spanning multiple flights, citing these operational failures as deal-breakers. The contrast between the few five-star reviews and the predominance of one-star ratings suggests the airline delivers exceptional experiences inconsistently, with system failures and staff inconsistency undermining customer retention.

Sorted by: Most recentI've had only positive experiences flying with JSX. They deliver real value for the price and it beats the hassle of traditional airport terminals every time. Whether I'm traveling for work or commuting regularly, they make the whole process easy.
We booked a short flight from Destin to Dallas but ran into serious problems. Halfway through, the pilot announced they were running low on fuel and had to make an unscheduled stop in Tyler to refuel. Apparently they hadn't accounted for the number of passengers and baggage on board. This added about forty-five minutes to our trip. Everyone panicked and two passengers even stayed in Tyler rather than risk continuing. I immediately emailed support asking for a credit or future flight voucher but got nothing in return. They claimed it was weather-related, which is completely false. It was sunny the entire time in both states and the pilot never mentioned weather as a factor. This airline has real problems to fix and customer service needs to be their priority. Given what we paid for these tickets, offering some kind of discount or credit should be standard. Their response was unbelievable and shows how little they care.
This was my smoothest flying experience ever. I showed up just thirty minutes before departure to an empty terminal, got checked in right away with helpful staff, and had a fantastic time on the plane.
JSX really is the best way to fly first class on a semi-private airline. I took a round trip to Las Vegas from Burbank over the holidays and had a wonderful time. No lengthy lines, fast baggage claim, and private valet parking at their hangar made everything convenient. They offer overnight parking too for a small fee. The plane was comfortable with about thirty seats and the included service was surprisingly good compared to major carriers. I arrived fifteen minutes early and checked in smoothly. Their website keeps you updated about traffic and flight info throughout your trip. I'd definitely recommend JSX to anyone who wants premium travel without the premium price tag.
