When I contacted Kosterina, they asked me to send back the bottles and cover shipping costs with ground delivery. Rather than handling this directly, they pushed me toward their insurance company, The Hartford. Their response so far has been that they're still investigating how glass ended up in a sealed bottle. I'm really disappointed with this company overall. Their products are just okay at best, and the customer service is pretty terrible. I spoke with someone in management and honestly expected better from what's supposed to be a family operation. They're giving Long Island a bad name. Here's my situation: I have an oregano allergy, which is serious. They shipped me a dozen jars of their olive product that contains oregano. Seriously? I spent my own time carefully going through the ingredient list, taking photos of the packaging and the wrong items I received, and sending everything to their support team. The response I got was dismissive, and they wanted me to take more photos of their products. Come on, you're selling olive oil, not luxury audio gear. Stop treating customers like suspects every time your warehousing partner makes a mistake or mixes up an order. This is unacceptable.
