What Shoppers Say About Lunya
Lunya is rated 1.8 out of 5 by 24 shoppers, with 71 percent giving one star. Reviewers consistently praise the aesthetic appeal and feel of Lunya's silk and organic cotton products, describing fabrics as beautiful, stylish, and amazing to the touch. However, the overwhelming majority of feedback centers on durability and quality control problems. Shoppers report that items deteriorate rapidly despite careful washing and adherence to care instructions, with seams coming apart, fabric shredding, and garments becoming unwearable within weeks to months of purchase. Multiple reviewers noted this is particularly frustrating given the premium pricing.
Customer service emerges as a secondary but significant complaint. Several shoppers describe slow email responses, unresolved complaints about defective merchandise, and refusals to address shipping cost issues. Quality control problems also appear widespread, with customers receiving stained items and incomplete orders. For a brand positioned as a luxury loungewear provider, the gap between price point and actual longevity and service standards has left most recent reviewers feeling misled and dissatisfied.

Sorted by: Most recentI was so happy when I found these silk slippers because they're beautiful and stylish. But after wearing them just twice they got really loose and don't provide any support at all. For what they cost I expected both comfort and style to last. Now they're too loose to wear properly with my silk loungewear set which is really disappointing since I loved them so much at first. I normally wear size 9 and a half and I wish I'd gone down to a 9. If you're between sizes I'd suggest ordering a half size or even a full size smaller.
Their customer service is really bad. They take forever to respond to emails and I paid extra for quick shipping that took five days to arrive. They refused to give back the shipping cost.
The fabric on their silk pajamas actually feels amazing but I wish they held up better given what they cost. Three of my bottoms started coming apart at the seams. When I called their customer service about it they didn't help fix the problem at all.
My wife wanted new pajamas for the holidays so I got her a Lunya gift card. They shipped her a pocket henley that had TWO stains on it. She also ordered two pairs of organic cotton socks but only received one. This is ridiculous.
Same thing happened to me as some other people here. I was really careful about washing these following the care instructions and they've started falling apart. For something this expensive that's supposed to be high quality, you'd think they'd last longer than two years. I tried calling their service team but they showed no real concern about the falling apart issue. It's unfortunate because the product started out so nice.
I've bought three of their Washable Silk Tee Sets over the years, spending close to $200 each time. For that price I figured I'd get decent quality. All three fell apart within three months, even though I was super careful with washing and followed their care instructions exactly. I'm talking completely shredded after just a few washes. My mom gave me a Lunya gift card one year and I asked if they'd refund her since I don't trust their products anymore. They refused to give her the money back, so she basically lost her gift. That seems to be how they run their business. I've tried leaving reviews on their website for products I've actually owned, but they don't allow customer reviews there. They hire a service to make all their reviews look amazing instead. All the good feedback you see is basically paid marketing. Don't trust them.
The quality is absolutely terrible. If you want to spend a bunch of money on something you can wear maybe once before it falls apart, Lunya's your place. Such a waste of my hard earned money.
Really let down by my Lunya sleep set. Not worth what they're charging. I've had my tank sleep set for just over a year now, hand washed it carefully following all their instructions. The fabric has started ripping at the waistband in two spots. I contacted them to see what they could do about it. Their supervisor on the customer happiness team basically said they couldn't help and offered me a measly $20 off. That's pretty insulting. There are definitely better sleepwear brands out there that won't cost you $200.
