Lunya Reviews
What Shoppers Say About Lunya
Lunya is rated 1.8 out of 5 by 24 shoppers, with 71 percent giving one star. Reviewers consistently praise the aesthetic appeal and feel of Lunya's silk and organic cotton products, describing fabrics as beautiful, stylish, and amazing to the touch. However, the overwhelming majority of feedback centers on durability and quality control problems. Shoppers report that items deteriorate rapidly despite careful washing and adherence to care instructions, with seams coming apart, fabric shredding, and garments becoming unwearable within weeks to months of purchase. Multiple reviewers noted this is particularly frustrating given the premium pricing.
Customer service emerges as a secondary but significant complaint. Several shoppers describe slow email responses, unresolved complaints about defective merchandise, and refusals to address shipping cost issues. Quality control problems also appear widespread, with customers receiving stained items and incomplete orders. For a brand positioned as a luxury loungewear provider, the gap between price point and actual longevity and service standards has left most recent reviewers feeling misled and dissatisfied.

Sorted by: Most recentThe actual products are just okay, nothing special. But honestly the ads are driving me insane. I see them everywhere. Seriously, stop with all the advertising already.
Think twice before buying from them. Several reasons why. First, their customer service is awful. They give you barely any real ways to reach them. No chat, no phone line. Pretty sketchy honestly. People even have to comment on their Instagram to get noticed since emails take forever. They use Covid as an excuse when they should just admit their service is lacking. Second, shipping takes forever. Not talking about the carrier either, they're slow packing orders. Two weeks went by and my stuff still wasn't shipped. Third, their business practices are strange. They charge your card immediately after you buy but it's taking weeks to ship. Most stores wait until they actually send it. Fourth, reading other reviews I keep seeing the same customer service complaints over and over. That shouldn't be happening for a company this size.
I had a good experience shopping with Lunya at first, so I went back and placed a bigger order. Big mistake. There was a problem with shipping and they completely ignored my emails and calls. This is not acceptable. All I wanted was someone to respond or give me an update. They obviously don't care about their customers. I'm done with them and I've told everyone I know about how badly they treated me.
I'm a repeat customer and their pajamas totally live up to the price tag. I did have a stitching issue once on my silk pair and they instantly gave me store credit to replace them. That was handled super fast. Everything else I've purchased has been top notch. There've been some shipping hold ups over the years but that's life and their support team is honestly fantastic.
I keep coming back to Lunya because their pajamas really are worth the money. Had a small stitching problem on one of my silk sets and they gave me a credit toward new ones right away. That was handled smoothly. All my other orders have been great quality. Sure, there were some shipping delays because of everything going on, but that happens everywhere. Their customer service team takes care of you really well.
I got a washable silk pajama set and a matching underset in late 2021. After washing them once following the instructions they looked completely different from when they arrived or how they appeared online. The color drained from a nice wine shade to a dull brown. The fabric felt like stiff paper and everything was wrinkled. Sure I could iron them but that shouldn't be necessary for everyday wear, and Lunya should have been upfront about that. The underset had frayed edges right after that first wash like I'd been wearing them for years. For something that costs around $200 and calls itself luxury, this was really disappointing.
Lunya turned out to be the worst purchase I made in a while and it cost me a lot. You'd be better off buying sleep clothes from Target.
Absolutely terrible company. I ordered in early January and after three weeks my tracking said in transit so I tried calling. There's no phone number. I emailed them and got back the same tracking number I already had, which had been stuck in transit for weeks. They didn't care at all. Didn't offer to contact the carrier or refund me or anything except blame shipping delays on the pandemic. I waited two more weeks with nothing. Good thing I used PayPal because I filed a claim and they finally responded on day 29 with my full refund. No apology, no explanation. This is not how you treat customers.
Stay away from this company. Awful customer service. There's no phone number to call. Their location in California closed down permanently. I have no way to find out when my stuff is arriving and I already paid the full amount but haven't received anything.
The website looks amazing but that's because they only use very tall and thin models. When you actually get the stuff it's huge, even in size extra small, and it doesn't work if you're shorter or smaller. Lunya clearly doesn't care about offering sizes that work for everyone and they've never answered any of my messages about this.
