Manduka Reviews
What Shoppers Say About Manduka
Manduka receives sharply divided feedback from shoppers. A significant portion of reviewers praise the quality and durability of the yoga mats themselves, noting that the products justify their premium price point when purchased on sale. However, the majority of shoppers report serious concerns with the company's policies and customer service. Common complaints include restrictive return policies (no returns allowed on some products despite misleading website claims of free returns), non-functional discount codes, slow customer service response times that miss stated two-business-day windows, and confusing website promotions that don't actually apply at checkout.
The restrictive return policy emerges as the most frustrating issue for customers, particularly when terms are not clearly communicated upfront or are discovered only after purchase. Several reviewers felt misled by promotional messaging around free shipping and returns, discovering during checkout or after purchase that certain mats were ineligible. Beyond policy frustrations, some customers report receiving defective products that began deteriorating within weeks, with support responses that are delayed and that impose documentation burdens like proof of purchase on gift recipients.

Sorted by: Most recentThe refund process took over a month. Customer service said they'd escalate the issue but I'm still waiting way longer than the fifteen days they advertise on their website.
My delivery arrived nearly empty. I was missing three items from my order. All I got was the mat carrier without the actual mat. They stopped responding to my messages and blamed everything on the shipping company.
Ordered my items at the end of August and have been dealing with shipping issues ever since. The package got sent back once and they said they'd reship it. I confirmed all my delivery details with them. Next thing I know, the tracking shows it's being returned again. I called the carrier to figure out what's happening and they told me they can't access my information even though I provided it correctly and Manduka verified it. Two weeks later and I still don't have what I ordered.
Skip ordering to Switzerland. The customer service here is really poor. I bought three items totaling one hundred dollars and ended up paying twenty-five for shipping plus seventy-five in import charges and fees from the delivery company. That basically doubles the price of everything. They shouldn't be selling internationally if customers have to pay this much extra. Plus I paid VAT in my country and have no way to get that back either.
I'm really loving the eko mat I ordered in 4.7mm. The eco-friendly material is perfect, and the color is gorgeous. Best part is the grip and comfort are exactly what I needed for my practice. Totally in love with this mat!
Just ordered the eko mat in 4.7mm and I'm absolutely obsessed with it. The eco-friendly material is exactly what I was looking for, and the color is beautiful. The grip and comfort level are spot on for my practice. Couldn't be happier with this purchase!
The black mat is seriously a game-changer for mysore ashtanga practice. I've convinced half a dozen of my friends who practice six days a week to get one. Recently picked up the travel pro mat too and it's fantastic. This brand really knows what they're doing with yoga gear.
Not ready to do business in Europe. The service is awful here. They partner with budget shipping companies that are nearly impossible to reach, and they mark deliveries as attempted when they never even tried. If you need to return something, good luck finding any info on their website. You have to call their support line and wait while some guy researches your issue, then they give you an address in another country to mail things back to. Shipping there from across the Atlantic isn't cheap and you pay for it. Then you wait. Six weeks went by of me following up before my refund finally showed up. I sent it back because the mat didn't match the premium claims they make for it. Steer clear of this company.
