What Shoppers Say About Mountain Mike’s Pizza
Mountain Mike's Pizza receives polarized feedback, with shoppers split between those praising quality and generous portions and those citing operational and service concerns. Satisfied customers consistently highlight premium ingredients, generous toppings, attentive service, and specialty items like the vodka sandwich as reasons to return, noting that higher prices reflect better value. However, critics report hygiene issues at some locations, website functionality problems that prevent online ordering and account creation, lack of digital deals, and consistency problems such as excessive grease on pizza and undersized slices despite higher slice counts.
The store presents a quality-versus-execution challenge. While the food itself earns strong praise from supporters, repeated complaints about hygiene practices, technical barriers to ordering, and portion inconsistencies suggest operational gaps that undermine the premium positioning. Shoppers appear willing to pay more for quality, but only when that promise is consistently delivered across all locations and departments.

Sorted by: Most recentThis place really stands out from other pizza spots around here. Yeah, it costs more, but you absolutely get what you pay for. The quality is there and the portions are generous. They don't skimp on toppings whatsoever.
Visited a newly opened location and was really turned off by what I saw in the kitchen. There were at least 3 staff members sporting beards, including some pretty long ones, and not a single person had on a beard net. That's just nasty. Nobody should have to worry about hair ending up in their food.
Their website doesn't work well at all. When I tried setting up an account to give them a shot, the Captcha verification never loaded properly. Tried again the following day and ran into the exact same problem. On top of that, they don't have online deals like most other places do.
I live nearby and decided to check out the local pizza place down the street. The main thing that grabbed my attention was their small pizza coming with 8 slices instead of the usual 6. Seemed like a great deal, right? Wrong. I picked up my small pepperoni and quickly figured out why they could fit more slices. They were noticeably smaller, and the pepperoni pieces were microscopic and way too salty. That was my one and only visit.
Food quality is fantastic and the staff really knows how to treat customers right. Everything feels attentive and thoughtful. Their vodka sandwich is seriously fantastic.
Ordered a couple pizzas from the local store and one came out wrong. We called to let them know and they brought the right one pretty quickly, which was great. The problem was the pizza itself was drenched in grease that soaked right through the box.
I keep going back to my local spot, and they consistently nail their gluten free pizzas without any worries about contamination issues. You can take basically any of their regular or made-to-order combos and throw it on a medium GF crust. Really tasty option!
