Olive & June Reviews
What Shoppers Say About Olive & June
Olive and June has a highly polarized rating distribution, with 18 shoppers rating the store 2.4 out of 5. A significant portion of reviewers report serious product quality issues, particularly with nail polish formula consistency (described as thin and watery with streaking and chipping problems) and press-on nails that fail within days and damage natural nails underneath. Customers also cite frustrating experiences with shipping delays, difficult website checkout processes, and customer service that places the burden of proof on consumers for quality complaints. A smaller segment of satisfied customers praise the brand's product variety and appeal as gifts, particularly for younger users, though their positive feedback does not address the core quality concerns raised by detractors.
The recurring theme among negative reviews centers on durability and product performance falling short of expectations, compounded by logistical and customer service friction. Website usability issues during checkout and extended delivery times add to customer frustration. The polarized ratings suggest potential inconsistency in product batches or quality control, with roughly one-third of reviewers reporting positive experiences while two-thirds express significant dissatisfaction with purchases.

Sorted by: Most recentI was really looking forward to this polish but it let me down. Got it in the mail, watched their tutorial video hoping to figure out what I was doing wrong. Next morning, everything was already chipped. I guess I should've done more research first. Not buying from this brand again.
Never actually tried their products because I couldn't complete a purchase. The site doesn't deliver to my area, and when I tried to get out of checkout, it was a nightmare. No matter how many times I rejected cookies, the payment page just kept forcing itself back into view with no way to escape it. The whole thing felt sketchy and controlling. I'm not going back to that site.
This is the worst polish I've ever bought. I found this exact color I was looking for through them, was thrilled to get it. When I painted my nails they looked streaky and uneven. The formula was super thin and watery. Customer service told me I needed to make a video proving the streaking and ask why it was thin. I don't have time for that. They then suggested I sign up for a tutorial on nail painting. I've been doing my nails since I was a teenager and I'm over sixty now. I don't need lessons. They never offered any actual solution, refund, or replacement. Even if they had, I'd turn it down. This company lost me completely. Shop anywhere else for nail polish, just not here.
The time between ordering and actually getting your package is unbelievable. I regret ordering in the first place.
Worst press-on nails I've ever used. Within a day and a half, I basically had to replace the whole set. By day three, most of them had fallen off and the rest I just yanked away. My actual nails underneath ended up damaged and torn.
The Mini Mani Set is seriously the cutest gift for stocking stuffers! I've been loving this brand for forever, and now that they're making Pressies for little kids, my daughter is just as into it as I am.
I'm obsessed with this brand. I've bought from their website and in stores and keep coming back. Their customer service team is super responsive and makes everything smooth. My nails look the best they've ever looked. Try their whole product range, not just the polish. Everything's worth it.
Haven't ordered from them since 2021 and out of nowhere they charged my card for a membership I never signed up for. This wasn't a forgotten subscription, I never requested or approved anything. Looks like they just charge cards and hope nobody notices. They say they'll refund it but I'm furious they even tried. Can't trust them anymore.
Hope your order doesn't need any customer support because if it does, good luck getting a response. And when they finally do answer, don't expect them to actually help you. We're a house of five women and none of us are ordering from them again.
I have one specific issue with these nails. I got a lavender French tip with a raised 3D design for Easter and couldn't wait to take them off. They fell apart in less than a week and didn't even make it to the holiday. The fit was off too - too curved, lengths inconsistent between sizes, no taper at the cuticle. But here's the real problem: that nude shade is awful. Whoever makes this, please listen - a nude isn't going on white paper, it goes on actual skin, and that's a totally different thing artistically. Their nude color looks greyish and sickly against your skin, like you're a zombie. Think about how colors actually look on people. The design was adorable in the package but looked terrible once applied.
