So I had my delivery sent to an old address because apparently the one-time orders and subscription deliveries are set up totally separately, which is confusing. When I ordered it went to my correct place, but then I got a text about a delivery coming from a town I used to live in, hours away. Obviously it went to the wrong spot. I was worried I'd lost it since Pet barn doesn't have the best reputation for helping customers, but I figured I'd try calling anyway since money's tight. Turns out the person on the phone was fantastic! A rep helped me out right away, deleted that old address from my account so it won't happen again, and got a new package sent to where I actually live. My friend had bad experiences with them before, but now I'm thinking maybe it just depends who you talk to. Called a different time and you might get someone way better. It's not perfect but my first interaction was genuinely good so that changed my mind about them. Honestly they need more staff like that working their phones. That person deserves a promotion.
They advertise free shipping but then hit you with a delivery charge when you're paying. I'm clearly in the main area but they're saying I'm not. When I tried to get help about it, the support team was basically useless.

There's other places selling pet food now that actually give you real discounts. I like the people here but the company needs to appreciate customers better or they'll lose them.
Don't waste your cash here. The puppy training class was a complete disappointment. Everything was disorganized and unprofessional and the whole thing felt like a waste of time. The instructor didn't seem to know much about training at all and kept getting distracted with off-topic chatter. Honestly you'll learn more useful stuff just looking up videos online for free.

Would give a zero rating if I could. I politely asked an employee where something was and they gave a vague answer pointing somewhere. I spent five minutes searching the store and couldn't find it anywhere, then I just left. The help was nonexistent. No way I'm coming back here.
Went in looking for flea treatment, a toy, and food for my dog. The staff didn't really step up to help me or answer questions about the items. They didn't seem very confident about the products either. Plus the toy fell apart after one day of my dog playing with it. The prices aren't great either.
We were shopping at the store and witnessed the manager right there in front of us talking down to an employee. Really bothered us seeing that kind of behavior. We're definitely not coming back to that location anymore. We'll also be telling people we know to avoid it. It makes you wonder what goes on behind closed doors if that's how staff gets treated when the place is open. The stuff they sell is actually pretty good but that manager situation was bad.

The email said the discount was already on my account so I didn't need to do anything else. I went to order like I normally do for my two dogs and went to pay, but nothing was taken off the total. I called support and they told me the deal only works in store. That makes zero sense to me. I asked why but they just said that's the policy. I asked to speak to someone in charge but they weren't around. Pretty obvious they don't want to help. I'm moving on to another store because if they're not going to value their repeat customers with online discounts, I'll find someone who will. Most people shop online anyway so removing it just doesn't make sense. You should reward loyalty instead of making things difficult.
Really let down with what this store offers and how they run things. The prices here are way too expensive and they won't budge on matching what other places charge. Shopping here feels like getting ripped off every time. Then there's the delivery which is basically useless. I placed an order five days ago and it still hasn't shown up. When I checked on it, it hasn't even been picked yet. They told me it would arrive by the 27th but now it's the 28th and nothing. Calling them is painful too, I was stuck waiting thirty minutes just to reach someone and eventually gave up. Not coming back. There are way better options out there that won't drain your wallet.
