This platform is really disappointing. They've started inserting extra ads on top of the regular commercials when you're watching live events. When you try to fast forward or rewind on their on-demand content, you get hit with three minute long commercial breaks. The skip ahead button is broken too - if you try to jump forward ten seconds, the video jumps all the way to the end and spoils the final score. NHL games on demand are especially problematic, and I've missed several games this season because the app just won't load the game at all. I wish I could give it zero stars honestly.

I just got the Disney and Hulu package with ESPN+ included, and honestly, ESPN+ is just okay. The streaming works reasonably well most of the time, though I've noticed the casting feature is pretty hit or miss. Since I mainly watch some MMA fights and occasional college basketball games that aren't on regular TV, I feel like I'm probably spending more than I should for what I actually use. I'm getting way more value out of the Hulu part of my subscription.

The app now includes its own ads alongside the standard commercials you already have to watch. The interface is difficult to work with - rewinding and fast forwarding are clunky, and using the skip function sometimes jumps you straight to the live broadcast, which ruins the whole point of watching on-demand. The app crashes frequently too. Overall it's a pretty bad experience. I've switched to YouTube TV for watching live sports and I'm much happier with it.

I signed up for an ESPN+ subscription recently and haven't been able to watch a single game yet. The app keeps showing me that the content isn't available. Getting customer service is nearly impossible - I can't even find a phone number to call. I'm definitely not renewing when my subscription ends, and I should be getting a refund, though I'm not holding my hopes up. Trying to get help through the app is way too complicated. After some time I was able to reach someone from Disney support and they helped fix the problem.

I can't believe how outdated ESPN+ streaming is in 2025. My internet connection is solid with fiber giving me over 200 Mbps consistently across my whole house using WiFi extenders, and I don't have issues with any other streaming apps. I tried ESPN+ on multiple devices including a MacBook M4, iPhone 16, and iPad Pro, all running the latest versions of both the apps and operating systems. I tested it in both Safari and Chrome browsers to make sure it wasn't a device or browser problem. What I experienced was really disappointing. The live college football streams kept freezing and buffering, the picture quality was noticeably worse than what YouTube TV shows for the same games, and even my MacBook running Chrome, which was my least problematic option, still had random restarts that interrupted viewing. This feels like a streaming problem that should have been solved years ago. The subscription price isn't really my concern. What bothers me is that I wasted an entire Saturday trying to watch games on a service that feels like it belongs in an earlier era.

I CANNOT WATCH FORMULA 1 ON THIS APP. THE SERVICE IS ABSOLUTELY BROKEN AND FEELS LIKE A RIP OFF. WHO IS THE COMPANY THEY USE FOR STREAMING? I'M PAYING FOR ESPN+ SO WHERE IS MY SERVICE? AND WHY AM I SEEING ADVERTISEMENTS ON A PAID SERVICE??? THIS IS GARBAGE. THE APP STINKS. I'M SWITCHING TO F1 TV PRO INSTEAD. I HOPE THEY LOSE TONS OF CASH FROM THIS GREEDY GARBAGE SERVICE.
