What Shoppers Say About prAna
prAna has highly polarized customer experiences. Positive reviewers praise the quality and durability of the clothing itself, with some noting excellent customer service interactions and satisfaction as repeat customers. However, the majority of recent reviews highlight significant operational problems: shipping carrier issues with OnTrac resulting in missing items and lack of tracking transparency, refund processing failures where customers report being refunded for only partial returns, unresponsive follow-up communication from customer service, and inconsistent warranty claim handling with contradictory explanations from the company.
Quality control issues also appear in recent feedback, with reports of pilling and snagging after minimal wear despite the brand's premium positioning. Some reviewers note manufacturing inconsistencies, such as belt loops that don't match specifications. The disconnect between prAna's warranty promises and actual claims handling is a recurring frustration point, with customers feeling misled about coverage terms.

Sorted by: Most recentReally happy with the pants and clothing I've gotten. The quality is fantastic and I'm a repeat customer. Also want to give a shout out to their customer service team, especially Liv. She went above and beyond by looking up style numbers from pants I bought five years ago to find that exact same product and suggest a newer version that matches. She was professional, knowledgeable, helpful and genuinely nice. That's service done right.
Prana ships via OnTrac and honestly it's the worst. No tracking updates, items go missing, you name it. When something goes wrong they make you wait a full week for them to investigate, then they just send it out again with OnTrac. It's like watching the same movie twice. If Prana keeps using OnTrac I'm done ordering from them. Their delivery is that bad.
Really disappointed. I returned four items but only got refunded for two. Called customer service expecting a quick fix and the person said they'd check with the warehouse like it was some separate company. They promised to email me follow up information that never came. A few days later I emailed again and got the same runaround with another promise of follow-up and nothing happened. Then I tried their chat support and was flat out told they wouldn't give me a full refund. I definitely sent all four items back. Their return process is broken and they're taking advantage of customers. This is the worst online shopping experience I've ever had.
The pants feel good to wear, so I grabbed three pairs in May. Haven't worn them much since it's been hot out. But on my second wearing during a trip abroad the pants started pilling and got a snag on the leg. When I mentioned it to Prana they brushed it off as normal wear. Come on, pants from Sears are more durable than this. Be careful before buying.
Got a couple pairs of Zion pants from Prana and they're pretty solid overall. Quality feels good and they look great. My only real complaint is that the last belt loop is noticeably smaller than all the others, which is annoying when trying to thread a standard 1.5 inch belt through it. This design choice just doesn't make sense and it's frustrating since everything else about the pants is really nice. Wish they'd fix that one issue.
I bought Mojo Shorts in 2021 because the brand advertised a lifetime warranty, which gave me confidence to spend a lot of money on their gear. Fast forward to 2025 and a small hole shows up despite me caring for them properly. I submitted a claim and got stonewalled with contradictory excuses. First they claimed a 3-year warranty that wasn't there when I purchased. When I called that out, they switched to blaming normal wear and tear. No repair offer, no replacement, nothing. Just automated responses and a closed case with no way to respond. I've filed complaints with the BBB, California AG, and the FTC because their pattern is clear: they'll shift their story however they need to avoid helping customers. Other negative reviews show this isn't unique. This company doesn't stand behind what it sells anymore.
I'm done with this brand. Every expensive shirt I've bought from them over the years ends up permanently stained from regular everyday wear. Nothing unusual like gardening or rough activities. Their high-priced stuff just doesn't hold up. My latest purchase I wore literally twice and it's totally ruined. I've spent a ton on clothes from them and gotten nothing but disappointment. Other brands at lower prices don't do this.
Leaving one star because I can't go lower. Ordered pants that got delivered to the wrong address so they never made it to me. I tried contacting Prana support and got back what looked like an automated computer response saying my case was closed. Customer service here is basically nonexistent. I'd say skip shopping with Prana altogether.
First time at the Sawgrass store and the staff was absolutely fantastic. Chris was incredibly nice and patient while I tried on different pieces and went through everything in the store. He kept track of items for me and answered every question I had about the products and the shop itself. Really hope they keep this location and Chris around.
