This hood has been disappointing from day one. I had high hopes when I got it installed, but something was clearly off with how it sounded. The fan was unbalanced and wobbly on one side. Customer service said they'd send a replacement motor, which showed up a few days later. I hired someone to swap it out and paid an extra two hundred dollars on top of the installation fee I'd already paid. When the handyman opened it up, they'd sent the wrong part. I called back and went back and forth with emails for over two weeks before getting the right one. Another hundred bucks to have the new motor put in. After all that hassle and expense, the fan performance is still subpar. My smoke detector goes off constantly when I use the stove. Can't recommend this product at all.

Wish I had skipped this purchase entirely. I spent big money on their hood almost 4 years back and it's been nothing but trouble. The first repair was covered under warranty, but after that I've been paying out of pocket. Over the years I've replaced the heat lamp button, control buttons, motherboard, LED lights, and fan capacitor, spending thousands on repair visits. When I finally asked for help with the latest issue, they basically threw up their hands and offered 10% off a new hood. I requested contact info for management and got no response. Replacing this thing properly means relocating my duct, fixing my exterior wall, and repainting, which will cost thousands more. This is cheap equipment that falls apart fast, and once it does, they're done helping. Stay away.
