Rado Watch Co Reviews
What Shoppers Say About Rado Watch Co
Rado Watch Co receives sharply divided feedback, with a significant portion of shoppers praising the brand's long-term durability and occasional exceptional customer service. Those with positive experiences highlight watches that maintain their appearance and functionality for decades, noting crystal clarity and band integrity even after years of wear. One customer also praised an employee named Beth for going above and beyond on a replacement case order.
However, the majority of recent reviews describe serious issues with warranty claims, product quality, and customer service responsiveness. Shoppers report straps and ceramic finishes showing wear or damage within months of purchase, only to be told such issues fall outside warranty coverage or are classified as user damage. A recurring complaint involves unresolved refunds and unhelpful communication when attempting returns, with customers feeling passed between the company and shipping partners without resolution.

Sorted by: Most recentI got my Rado ladies watch somewhere around 40 years ago. It's a stunning black design with gold accents and diamonds around the dial. It still looks practically brand new. It's the only watch I ever wear. The crystal has stayed crystal clear without a single scratch, and the band looks like it's never been worn. I'm amazed by how well it's held up. I bought it from a jewelry store and I get compliments on it all the time.
I sent my watch back for a return but they haven't processed my refund yet. Both their shipping partner and the store keep giving me the runaround. They're telling me they won't process it and that I need to contact my bank instead. Their customer handling approach feels really unprofessional. I looked at what others are saying online and found tons of people dealing with the same problem. I'd recommend being careful if you're thinking of ordering from them. There are plenty of other retailers and websites out there with way better customer support, and this company just isn't delivering that level of service.
I'm a big watch person and I wanted to treat myself to one of their pieces since my wife got one years ago and it looks amazing. I picked up a rose gold skeleton model and barely wore it, maybe 6 or 7 times total. When I pulled it out of the case, the strap looked tarnished. I sent it back and they told me it's not covered by warranty and that something it touched caused the damage, but no proof of what. So basically their watches aren't really made for actual use and the materials are pretty cheap, which is probably the real story. Their customer care doesn't really care, and on top of that they lost my card and are making me jump through hoops to get a replacement. I'll never buy another one. These are just overpriced, low quality watches with zero real backup service. You need to live in a bubble for these not to tarnish from normal contact. It's a disaster. Rado, you should be ashamed. I've got plenty of proof if anyone wants to see it.
Don't buy a watch from this company. I purchased one thinking I was getting a quality luxury timepiece. While wearing it, I dropped it and the strap broke. I filed a warranty claim and they said it was intentional damage. I don't understand their logic because the strap itself was faulty and it broke during the warranty period when I dropped it. Save yourself the trouble and buy elsewhere. They have terrible service. My customer reference number is on file with them.
I recently reached out to customer service because I'd misplaced my travel watch case. I talked with Beth who was incredibly helpful and honestly went the extra mile. She found exactly what I needed and somehow had it shipped out to me the very next day. That's the kind of service you don't see very often. Plus their watches themselves are fantastic.
I purchased a ceramic white watch in early 2025 and wore it on and off. By summer I noticed some small scratches had appeared on the edges and strap. I contacted the company about it since the watch is supposed to be scratch resistant, which is honestly a big reason I picked it. They said it was normal wear and tear, but I'd only owned it for 3 months! That claim is pretty misleading when they market it as resistant to scratching. To get it fixed, they quoted me over 900 pounds, but offered to take 50 percent off as a goodwill gesture. I paid 2450 pounds for this watch and I'm extremely upset. I don't even have confidence that once it's repaired it won't scratch again immediately. This whole situation has made me a very angry customer.
The customer service here is really bad. You can't reach anyone by phone and your calls never get returned. Don't waste your time. I wouldn't recommend buying a watch from this company.
My husband received this watch as a 40th birthday gift about 4 years back. He barely wore it, just for special occasions, and kept it safely in its original pouch and box. Unfortunately, he went swimming in our pool and didn't realize he had it on. Now it's full of water! The company claims it's water resistant to 50 meters, but they said the seals degrade over time and won't cover it without charging me. I paid well over a thousand pounds for this thing and it's completely ruined. They refused any warranty repair. It's frustrating because my old Swatch, which cost about 35 pounds and I've worn swimming regularly for over 10 years, has never needed seal replacement and still works perfectly.
My watch quit working after 3 years and at 1500 pounds I expected it to last way longer. Now I need to send it in for inspection which costs 300 pounds plus whatever repairs are needed. This is actually a replacement for an earlier one that broke down just a month after purchase. The branding is solid but the actual quality just doesn't match what they charge. I'm using my Apple Watch now while I figure out what to buy next, and it definitely won't be another one from this company.
The watch is supposedly water resistant to 15 meters but it leaked during my recent swim. I tried asking for a replacement through their chat but they just ignored me. I sent emails with no response. I'm telling you, don't buy Rado watches. They're garbage and the company won't stand behind their product quality. I spent 1200 pounds on this and it's completely worthless now. I could show you pictures of how messed up it is after one swim.
