I was brand new to using the Drive-Up and Go service, and this employee went above and beyond to make everything smooth. She was friendly, took time to walk me through the app and process, and never made me feel rushed or judged. Really appreciate someone who's that committed to helping customers figure things out. Ty definitely made a great first impression for Randall's!
Great experience at the Memorial Drive location in Houston. The staff here is genuinely friendly and you can tell the store is well-maintained. The parking lot is always nice, and the managers really care about making customers happy. They stock plenty of items, and the meat counter folks do excellent work. I love that the Starbucks baristas know my order by heart. There are just a couple items I shop elsewhere for, but honestly Randall's takes care of almost everything. Plus, they open early which works perfect for my schedule. Most of the cashiers are super helpful and kind too.
I've been a loyal customer for many years and used the delivery service regularly with a paid account. When I had issues with a couple of orders, the store manager responded by shutting down my account entirely and canceling my delivery membership, saying I had too many refunds. I don't get it - why ban a customer instead of just denying future refund requests? And since it was one manager's decision, I'm now blocked from all Randall's locations everywhere. A few years back when I had more money, refunds were never a problem. Now that I'm on a tighter budget using EBT, suddenly it's an issue. I contacted the corporate office and was told someone would call back within two days. Still waiting. Seems unfair to treat customers differently based on their financial situation.
Shopping here is great. Everything is always spotless, and the employees are genuinely pleasant to interact with.
Excellent store with solid customer service and a really good variety of products. Living in Houston, I actually visit three different Randall's locations and they all impress me. You get that upscale shopping feel without paying premium prices. Their coupons and promotions help keep costs reasonable, and if you need groceries delivered, Freshpass is affordable and convenient. I'm hoping that once Kroger completes their acquisition, they'll maintain what makes these stores special.
