One significant complaint emerged regarding a Black Friday promotion advertised as 'Spend $100, Get $100.' A customer reported that after placing an order and waiting for the promotional code, customer service clarified that the $100 credit would not apply as expected, creating frustration around unclear promotion terms and fulfillment.

Sorted by: Most recentI've been purchasing from this company for years now. Last year they ran a Black Friday promotion that read 'Spend $100, Get $100' which sounded perfect, especially for holiday gifts. I ordered a gift set and waited on the promotional code to arrive, but it never showed up. When I contacted customer service, they told me the $100 credit wouldn't kick in until January. Sure, that felt misleading for a sale announcement, but I figured I'd just use the credits down the road anyway, so I went ahead and bought another $100 bundle of gifts. Fast forward to now when I'm actually trying to spend those credits, and they hit me with another restriction: the credits come in $20 blocks and you only get one per transaction. I pushed back with customer service about how inconvenient and limiting this is, but they wouldn't budge. Here's the problem: tons of their items cost more than $20, like the vanilla extract or gift sets. So anything priced over $20 means I'm stuck paying the difference from my own wallet even though I've got $200 sitting in account credits. They did provide a shipping coupon code at least, but beyond that they showed zero flexibility. Redeeming the credits turned into this whole tedious process where I had to hunt through items, pick ones that added up to around $22 per order, slap the code on, and still cover the overage myself.
Not someone who typically writes reviews, but I have to say I was totally wrong about skipping them before!
These seasonings are genuinely excellent quality and really hit the mark. Had everything I was looking for and honestly can't find anything to complain about here.
