What Shoppers Say About Shashi
Shashi is rated 1.7 out of 5 by 15 shoppers, with the vast majority of reviews reporting serious issues with customer service, product quality, and order fulfillment. Shoppers consistently report unresponsive customer support, with many stating that emails and messages go unanswered for weeks. Multiple reviewers describe receiving broken or damaged jewelry, experiencing long delays without shipping updates, and encountering unexpected import fees. Product quality concerns are prominent, with customers noting that pieces tarnish and break easily despite careful handling. The jewelry is frequently described as fragile relative to its price point.
A small number of shoppers report positive experiences, specifically praising responsive customer service when issues are escalated. However, these positive interactions are heavily outweighed by complaints about poor product durability, unresponsive support, and orders that arrive damaged or incomplete. The pattern of unaddressed customer complaints across multiple reviews suggests systemic issues with order processing and customer service responsiveness rather than isolated incidents.

Sorted by: Most recentMy order never showed up, and I've tried contacting customer service many times without getting any response.
I spent over a hundred dollars on a beaded necklace that snapped after just a couple months of regular wearing. When I asked about sending it back for repairs, they turned me down and offered me 20% off another purchase instead. No thanks. This is not quality jewelry.
I don't usually write reviews, but I had to share my experience. I got my daughter a ring and after just two days it tarnished badly and left black marks on her finger. I called customer service and they replaced it. Unfortunately, the new ring started peeling its gold coating off after a week and looked awful. When I sent photos to the company, they basically said too bad, claiming you can't wear it around water, lotion, or anything else you'd normally use with your hands. The reality is their jewelry is cheap quality for the high price tag. Not worth it.
I got some huggies earrings and an ear cuff that initially seemed nice and didn't irritate my ears. But after wearing them occasionally for a few months, the ear cuff started looking really bad. The gold coating peeled off completely and exposed the silver underneath. One of the huggies snapped in half and the other one won't even close anymore. It's shocking considering how expensive these pieces are. Would appreciate a response from Shashi about why their quality is so poor.
The designs are really cute, but I've spent money on over half a dozen pieces and the prices don't match the durability at all. Every single ring I've gotten has faded from its original color even though they claim it's 18k gold plated. The gems on my rings have come loose and fallen out, which shouldn't happen when you're spending more than 70 bucks. I bought two pairs of earrings too. One pair started discoloring and got all rusty after barely wearing them, and I'm worried about getting an ear infection. They said they can't do anything because of their 30 day return window, so basically that 75 dollars went straight in the trash. Their 18k gold plating claim is clearly not accurate.
