When I had to return stuff, they sent me 4 items in one box but their system insisted I break them into 2 separate return packages for no good reason. There was no way to change it to just one label. Everything was already packed together in the original packaging. Now they're telling me I only returned 2 items instead of 3, but I packed all 3 together. Getting anyone on the phone is practically impossible. British companies used to have standards but those days are long gone apparently.
When money got tight they couldn't care less. Every single month they were stacking on £57 in fees and charges until eventually they sold my account. The balance ended up being 70% more than what I originally owed. They insisted they could charge whatever they wanted because it's written in their terms. It's unbelievable how much they profit off people in tough spots. Absolutely zero support when you need it.

Absolutely terrible experience, these people are fraudsters. I got a freezer delivered early January that was way too small compared to what their listing showed. Immediately called for a return within minutes of getting it since it wasn't what was described at all. Since then I've called them 4 separate times and submitted their return form online 4 times too, but absolutely nothing gets done. The automated responses say someone will get back to me, but nobody ever does. Same story on phone calls - they apologize and promise contact, yet it never comes. Plus they don't even have a formal complaints process, which seems illegal here. What am I supposed to do now? They're ignoring me and won't collect this item back. I reported them to Trading Standards, though that won't help get my money back. Still waiting as of late January - they keep saying they'll arrange pickup in 2 to 3 days but it never actually happens. Every time I reach out they send the same generic reply asking for my name and information again and again, creating this endless loop.
Absolutely dreadful when things go sideways. Placed an order for a coat and waited days for delivery. When the package showed up it had trousers instead - nothing about a coat. My invoice for the coat was in there but the actual coat wasn't. Called repeatedly and got no answer after waiting 15 minutes. Sent two separate emails and still nothing. After a few more days I tried calling again and thankfully got someone nice who processed a refund, though I never did get that coat. Had to print my own return label for the trousers I never even ordered and wait for the courier to pick them up. They threatened to charge me if I didn't send the trousers back, which makes no sense since they wouldn't know what I'm returning anyway. I won't be shopping with Simply Be again.
Mailed my return back December 18th and still no refund. It arrived December 19th. Spent over £10 sending it back in a secure way. Where's my money? I need this refunded immediately.
Returned items on December 17th and got an email saying they arrived. Most items got refunded but one didn't. Their info says to wait 14 days, which I did and then some - now it's been 19 days. I've sent 3 emails promising 24-hour replies and gotten zero response. Tried the online chat every single day with nothing back. Even reached out through Facebook chat and still nothing. I'm missing over £40 and have absolutely no way to contact anyone about it. This is basically theft. I'm going to file a complaint with the financial ombudsman because this is completely unacceptable.
