What Shoppers Say About simplyearth.com
Simply Earth receives sharply divided feedback, with shoppers either highly satisfied or deeply frustrated. Positive reviewers praise the product quality, particularly the essential oils used in homemade products, and commend the flexibility of the subscription service, including easy shipping date adjustments and reliable delivery. However, a significant portion of reviewers report serious problems: misleading advertising about what items are included in boxes, unexpected duplicate charges and billing errors, unresponsive customer support (slow email responses, dropped phone calls, unanswered inquiries), and checkout glitches that still result in PayPal charges. Several shoppers also note issues with the company's recent switch to a new shipping carrier, which has resulted in lost packages and unhelpful support responses.
The polarized rating distribution suggests Simply Earth struggles with consistency in both product fulfillment and customer service. While long-term customers who have had smooth experiences remain loyal, newer or recent customers frequently encounter billing problems and support failures that leave them frustrated and uncompensated despite claims of eventual refunds.

Sorted by: Most recentI'm really enjoying all the oils and extras that come in my box each month. The team put together an Essential Oil Hero Course that's really well done. It's straightforward and easy to use. The printed materials are awesome and I especially love Katie's training videos. They cover a lot of good stuff. I ran into an issue once, emailed about it, and they fixed it right away. I'm really satisfied with what this company is doing.
I signed up at the end of December and canceled by mid-January, so my time as a subscriber was really short. While I think the company means well, there's a lot that needs to be fixed. I sent them feedback about several worries I had, especially about recipe safety. Here's the thing, essential oils and water just don't mix, period. I saw a hand sanitizer recipe using Aloe and Tea Tree oil, but that's not safe at all because Aloe is water based and the oils won't break down into it properly, ever. That's just one issue. There are plenty more reasons why DIY recipes like this shouldn't be trusted. Before you make something someone posted online, do your homework to ensure it's actually going to work and be safe. Also, they should list the chemotypes for oils because that matters when you're figuring out which one to use. I emailed asking multiple times which type of Rosemary oil was in my box but never got an answer. I also requested the testing reports for quality verification on the oils I received so I could track when they were made and when they'd expire, but nobody responded to those emails either.
Started my subscription back in May and I'm loving it. It's different from Young Living, which I'm also a member of. You get small recipes and projects in the box, plus it's pretty affordable. They had a sale around Memorial Day and I was thinking about grabbing some extra oils. I threw them in my cart so I could add the discount code and check my total before finalizing my purchase, but somehow the order went through on its own. I guess that's what happens when you save your payment details. I emailed them asking if I could cancel or at least get that discount applied to the order I didn't mean to place. They got back to me really fast and gave me a twenty dollar credit on my account. I was thrilled. It made me like SimplyEarth even more.
