What Shoppers Say About Google
Google Store shoppers are overwhelmingly satisfied, with the vast majority rating their purchases at five stars. Positive reviewers highlight durability and longevity of devices like Fitbit wearables and Google mesh networking products, praising straightforward setup, strong performance, and Google's customer service when replacements or upgrades are needed. A small segment of buyers report significant issues, including concerns about product authenticity through certain retailers, sensor accuracy problems with fitness trackers that register inflated step counts and inaccurate heart rate readings, and occasional device failures.
The store maintains strong overall satisfaction despite these complaints, with shoppers generally recommending Google products based on reliability and warranty support. However, potential buyers should be aware that device accuracy can vary, and it's worth verifying authorized retailer status before purchase if price matching is a consideration.

Sorted by: Most recentThe price matching policy only works with 'authorized UK retailers' and Vodafone isn't on that list. That makes me wonder if they're actually legitimate sellers of this product or if they're just gray market resellers. The overall review scores for this store seem pretty low too.
Purchased a Fitbit Sense 2 and found the accuracy to be completely unreliable. I was seeing 90 steps registered just from getting out of bed, 500 more before I even left the house, and somehow hit 10,000 steps just sitting on the bus at work. The resting heart rate showed 120bpm which seems way off. Even simple things like weather weren't working right - it showed 3 degrees when it was actually minus 2 outside. Pretty much everything this watch tracks is either wildly inaccurate or nowhere close to being right.
I have the Fitbit Inspire 3 and it's seriously fantastic! I dropped it in a hot tub by accident and didn't notice for a whole month while the tub was filled. When we drained it I found it down there, and I couldn't believe it - after charging it up, the thing still worked perfectly! Really impressed with how durable this device is. Definitely a great product!
Grabbed this about 18 months ago since our router is stuck in the basement and we needed better WiFi reach in the garage and outdoor patio area. The initial setup was straightforward and I'm really satisfied with how it works as a mesh network. Great signal throughout the whole space, plus the mini unit has a built-in speaker. You'll end up with two separate networks showing up but that's how it goes. I don't really bother with any of the other smart home features - just use a regular switch for lights and actually walk to answer the door.
Bought a Versa 3 back in July 2022 through a retailer. A few months into this year the watch got stuck displaying the boot screen. Fitbit support walked me through several restart attempts, but unfortunately the device wasn't salvageable. They impressed me by sending a replacement offer at no cost, and they actually upgraded me to the Versa 4 model. My new watch arrived the next day. Hands down the best customer service experience I've had with any company.
I'm giving this five stars mainly because Fitbit went above and beyond to fix things. Started with a Charge HR which was solid, then upgraded to an Inspire HR that I loved. When that clasp finally gave out after years of use I switched to the Inspire 2, and it was a total letdown - not responsive at all and the water lock feature drove me crazy. I sent that back and decided to try the Luxe instead. That was a game changer! The Luxe is genuinely the best Fitbit I've owned. I think about how much I love it almost every single day. Everything works beautifully from workout tracking to sleep monitoring to heart rate stats and oxygen tracking. Notifications are spot on. I was worried the screen might be hard to read like some people said about the Inspire 2, but not for me - I can see it crystal clear even in bright sunlight. I wear glasses for reading but I can still see all the info during workouts. The size feels right and swapping out bands is super easy, which I do pretty often. I honestly can't say enough good things about it.
My Fitbit stopped working and I decided to use the chat support. Talked with two different advisors who were both fantastic and super helpful. They got everything sorted out right away for me.
Purchased a fitness tracker several years back. After a while the battery wasn't holding a charge very well, so I reached out to support. They tried some troubleshooting steps but nothing worked, so they offered either a refund or a free replacement. I went with the replacement and they sent me an upgraded model at no extra cost. That device has worked great ever since. Really can't complain about how they handle things.
The customer service here is really solid. My watch display quit working and it wasn't even under warranty anymore, but they still sent me a replacement device within a week. I worked with two different support people and both went out of their way to help.
Fitbit's customer service has really stepped up its game! I had a rough experience back in early 2021 with a defective band on my son's Ace and was pretty frustrated. It put me off wanting to deal with them again. But then I had to reach out twice in the summer of 2021 for issues with two different Fitbits, and both times the support staff were absolutely fantastic. Really appreciate the help!
