What Shoppers Say About ThirtyTwo
ThirtyTwo receives consistently poor ratings from shoppers, with the majority reporting serious issues across multiple categories. Common complaints center on extremely slow customer service (with response times exceeding a year), high return shipping costs (16 euros to 40 pounds or more), poor build quality and durability problems (stitching failures, BOA system loosening after minimal use), and unresponsive support when products fail. Shoppers express particular frustration with the contrast between the premium price point of these snowboarding boots and their actual longevity, with several noting that competitor brands like Burton maintain quality over multiple years of use.
The handful of reviews suggests ThirtyTwo's customer service infrastructure is significantly understaffed or poorly managed, with return processes hampered by excessive paperwork and third-party logistics complications. While one shopper acknowledged a sizing issue was their reason for the low rating, even that review criticized the company's approach to handling returns. No reviewers reported positive experiences with product quality, customer support responsiveness, or the overall value proposition of purchasing from this retailer.

Sorted by: Most recentFinally got a response on June 4th after reaching out back in February of the previous year. That's almost 16 months to get back to me. They asked me to send photos even though I'd already uploaded them, and they wanted purchase info that I'd given them months earlier. Now it's late July and still nothing. The way this company handles customer issues is absolutely shameful.
Wish I'd checked out what others had to say before ordering. Got some pants that didn't fit right, so I went to send them back. Turns out they want 16 euros just to process the return, which honestly feels outrageous. Good thing the sizing issue made me think twice about keeping them anyway.
Grabbed what was supposed to be a mint condition preowned pair and took them out snowboarding for about five weeks. They fell apart completely. The company basically ghosted me through email and wouldn't own up to it. These weren't budget boots either, so this kind of durability is unacceptable. Really disappointed with the whole situation.
Skip these boots if you can. The build quality just isn't there. My STW boots started having stitching issues after just four weeks of riding spread across two seasons, and the BOA system keeps loosening up. That's really poor craftsmanship. I had Burton gear before and those things held up for years. With only a one year warranty, it's clear they know their products don't last, and the support team doesn't seem to care much either. Going back to Burton because this brand is a waste of money.
Don't place an order with these guys if you're based in the UK. Returning snowboard boots will set you back 40 pounds or more. And that's just the start. You've got to fill out forms and paperwork like you're filing for a legal separation. Then UPS gets involved wanting even more documentation even though you've already attached everything multiple times to the package. It's completely ridiculous.
