The Topps Company Reviews
What Shoppers Say About The Topps Company
The Topps Company is rated 1.5 out of 5 by 19 shoppers, with the vast majority expressing significant dissatisfaction. Reviewers report persistent issues with product availability (products sell out quickly with limited stock for general collectors), quality control problems (scratches and defects on cards), and slow or unresponsive customer service when filing claims or requesting replacements. Many shoppers also complain about high resale markups, website technical glitches during product releases, and a perceived shift toward favoring certain buyers or resellers over regular collectors.
A small portion of reviewers gave higher ratings, but the overwhelming consensus reflects frustration with the purchasing experience, product quality, and company responsiveness. Common complaints center on feeling that customers are overcharged for substandard products, that claims processes are ineffective or ignored, and that the company prioritizes profit over customer satisfaction. Several shoppers mention deterioration in service quality following recent ownership changes.

Sorted by: Most recentTerrible customer service. They shipped me something completely different and way cheaper than what I paid for half a year ago. Getting responses took forever and they never offered me anything to make it right. Just don't bother with them. They won't even respond to your messages and if they eventually do, you'll be waiting months.
Topps Now is an absolute joke and not worth the money. You'd be better off spending your dollar on a lottery ticket. Won't be ordering from them anymore.
Topps Now is completely ridiculous and a total rip-off. You'd get better odds throwing a dollar at a lottery machine. I won't be ordering from them again.
Total ripoff artists. They slap you with over 80 bucks in shipping and then you get hit with duty charges on top of that. Pure scam.
The actual cards are fine enough. Dealing directly with the company? That's where things fall apart. Ordered the Olympics Lebron/Curry/Durant Topps Now card in mid-August. It was supposed to arrive within 7-10 business days after the sales window ended. A week passes and suddenly they're saying 10-13 business days. Then early September rolls around and I get a message saying it'll ship by the 5th. Nope. Night of the 5th brings another email saying it's delayed and won't ship until late September. One hold-up, maybe two, is understandable. But constantly breaking promises and missing dates? That's what I'd expect from some startup that's in over their head, not an established company. I'm pretty much done with my Topps account after this order wraps up. Update: Got an email hours after my review saying the item shipped. That would be great news except Topps is randomly throwing short prints into orders, so some people get bonus high-value cards. The fact that I got the shipping notification right after posting this makes me wonder if they individually shipped my order as a goodwill gesture.
These people are straight-up con artists. Half my order disappeared and they refuse to give me a refund. Stay far away from them.
Took a full month just to get my first email from them, and it was only to ask me to rate their customer service. That's pretty ironic considering I hadn't actually interacted with anyone from their team until then. My EURO 2024 sticker order showed up missing 2 items. I tried calling the two numbers I had on file, but couldn't reach anyone. Still haven't heard back on the email I sent, and when I messaged on Facebook, all I got was an auto-response. Their site itself is confusing too. The order tracking button just takes you to a dead page unless you hunt around in a different section of My Account that's basically hidden. And I'm confused about their French and German versions since neither one apparently ships to those countries.
Placed an order for missing Euro 2024 stickers. When it came in, one was the wrong kind and another was completely missing. I've sent Topps two different emails but haven't received anything beyond an automatic acknowledgment message. Been a month now with no actual help or replacement stickers. Think I'll go back to Panini since Topps clearly doesn't value their customer base.
Got a 2024 Chrome box from Topps and the cards inside were damaged and bent. I asked about getting replacements but they shot me down, saying bent cards aren't returnable if they grade 8 or higher. Really disappointed with how they handle this situation. They need to focus on shipping better quality products. Plus, I paid extra for express delivery and the package still took a week to arrive instead of 1-2 days.
