This company has eaten up way too much of my time. Last year I contacted them for holiday rental coverage a month before my cottage's renewal, and the property had flooded before. The whole thing dragged on forever, but they assured me I'd get flood protection. Problem was, they took so long they missed the deadline and I had to go elsewhere. This year I reached back out since I still had all my paperwork, so I figured all I needed was to bump up the property value and contents amount. I made sure to give them plenty of time for this straightforward change. After calling a few days past when they said it would be done, a different person checked the notes and found out the underwriters had never even been contacted. We went through it again. Finally the documents showed up. Great! Except they never bothered to tell me they'd blocked flood coverage. I only caught it by reading the fine print carefully. This isn't professional service; it feels deceptive.
